    numerous dealers sell this vinyl, it is a great intermediate vinyl, I have used it from the beginning of my business, yes it is Fellers house brand and Earl Mich.com. and several other sign supply dealers.  The dealers just add their own  name to it and call it their house brand. It cuts and weeds great.  the vinyl is Comp-u-cut ,,CC300 AND  CC500 series  from General Formulations Company  http://www.generalformulations.com  who has been  in business since 1953.

    Flexistarter IS sold without dongle.  key, called "Softkey", you just have to be on the internet every 15 days or license will expire,, purchase from Desay on EBAY,,  Flexi distributer... don't know about Flexi Pro,  I would check first with  esupport@saintl.biz  and ask them if they sell a version like that first. That is alot of money to spend and not get what you want.  That is support email for Flexi..

    what version of Flexi are you using?  If using Flexistarter, those tools are not there,,, BUT you can click FILE,  go down to workspace, a dropdown menu shows,  Click CASmate,    your screen will change to the CASmate screen,  then click EDIT at top  of screen again, click  EDIT POINT . POINT SELECTOR,  now touch that point selector to the area you want to take away, and it should show all the points,,  then just click backspace, to remove the points you do not want.  if removing too much, just click edit, undo.until you get what you want.    I use it all the time to fix bad vector images,  then remember to save your design or you will  lose it,,  and when done, go back to the workspace and but it back on default. All I have is Flexistarter,,and I love it..

    First of all,  Did the Flexistarter come as your software with the Seiki Vinyl cutter?  If it did, Seiki has The Flexistarter to only work with the Seiki vinyl cutter,, It is the only driver you will find on it...The Seiki,,  This may already answer your question right here...  If it did come with the Seiki,  You will have to get another version of Flexistarter that willl work on ALL other vinyl cutters.,  Cost about $99.00 on EBAY.

    If you are using  Flexistarter you cannot autotrace,, I did not see you specify which Flexi program you are using,,, Starter? Pro?  Sign? Letter?    I just know that if using Flexistarter, You have to import a design that is already vectorized.  ie:  AI file.  EPS file etc.

    also dongle is your password protect.  As a key that locks  your software, so to speak,  Fits in your USB port.  Also with dongle you do not need to be on the internet to be able to work and your license is unlimited, as with softkey version, (no dongle).  you do need to be connected to the internet every 15 days or license expires.

    I have used Flexistarter only for my business for 2 years now. It is basically all I need to cut with. ...very easy to learn and yes, has registration marks and cuts for different colors.  You just click pause between colors.

    tape in my opinion depends on what size decals you are making. ,, and how much text and small details..  real small decals like 3" x 8" and with small text,  I use clear,,,, large decals I use paper tape,, Conform,  Main etc.  how I apply clear tape is ....unroll with tape laying on the table with adhesive up,  sometimes it has some static to it, so I put a little weight of something small on the corner... Then with the vinyl side down of your decal,  and facing the adhesive side....start at the end of the tape and gently ROLL the decal slowly on the tape, while gently smoothing it as you go.  works for me...
