I do not know anything about Signblazer,,,, but in Flexi,,,,, You can place tile marks, it does NOT cut across your design, it only cuts everything up to the point, then advances, cuts up to that point, then advances until it is at the end of the design,You still have only I big stripe. Not sections. That way you do not have your cutter going from one end of the vinyl ,clear to the other end and back and forth. I make stripes all the time for my business, this is how I do it and they are perfect. In the picture I have put 6 tiles in your design, each at about 14.2" So it will cut all of the first 14".2" then advance to the next 14.2" then advance to the next 14.2" until it gets to the end of the design... It does not cut the lines ACROSS the design,,,, -

are you just cutting the design as 1 long run? or tiling it, so that it will cut (example), all of 12'' before going onto the next part of the design? -

Cutter head "bumps" the wall . . . ?
MZ SKEETER replied to Z's topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I don't know anything about SBE, but does it have a place to change the material/vinyl width on the software? So that your actual layout is 10" wide. Not knowing whether your overlapping or not,, but if you change the vinyl width to 10" you would have (3) tiles of 10" x 40" -
Don't do it... LOL at the measurements I told you,,, 1020,, as only a starting point,,,, cut a square or something like L 4" x 1" W then actually measure that area. See if it is real close to being 4" x 1" ... If it is under the 4" x 1" just add a little, like 1022.... If over , take a little away,, 1018... Don't jump to 1200,, It will take you way over.

How Many People Here Make Signs Full Time? Storefront? Work From Home?
MZ SKEETER replied to bayshorecreations's topic in General discussion
I have been doing graphics 4 years now, and have an EBAY store where I sell them, I have still stayed busy enough to support myself solely from vinyl graphics through the recession, Business has remained strong for me. My main products are vehicle graphics. I only make and sell, not apply. I work fulltime with my EBAY store from my home. -

Hello, I have a Graphtec FC7000mk2-75 which I use CB09UA(1) BLUE CAP I also have a Seiki which uses Roland blades,, that Roland blade is too large in diameter, to fit thru the CB09UA holder...the Graphetic spring is keeping the blade from coming all the way thru the holder,,,,, I do not change the length of blade for different mil vinyl. Mostly i use 3 mil outdoor vinyl, and that is what I cut the most, but if I am am going to change to thicker, like chrome. I change the force. Not the blade length. If you go into your cutting controller ...click, list ,edit you will have a screen come up that shows what force goes with each mil (type) of vinyl. or at least close... -
I also just have the design on my screen and take a picture with a digital camera... very ez....
