so what do all the other sites say about their Chinese cutters? What do those forums say? If you need some help getting it set up, stop on back, or stop by their forums, I'm sure someone can get you going..

sc cutter memory Buffer capacity 1MB - Recyclable. MH series has 1 MB... there was a 4MB chip available on us cutter site for purchase for MH series.. don't see it now.. what ever you decide to purchase, do yourself a favor and buy the stand...You will regret not buying it the first day...

It has been said on here, that you can have USCUTTER, open the box, and test your machine before shipping it to you. That way you know your machine was not DOA, from China to USCUTTER... The machines are brought over here from China, and I'm sure you can imagine how many times they are moved around from starting point to finish.. Flexi 8.1 could be hit and miss on Windows 7. Was not even Vista compatible until Flexi 8.5. Some get it to work on windows 7, others not..

Signblazer has not been updated for several years, because the owner passed away a few years ago, so only imports older versions of .eps files such as version 8. eps. Signblazer is not compatible with newer versions of files. Save the file as an older version,such as version 8, then import it. Hope this helps.

just let it cut... there is nothing wrong with that... the cutter will go all over the place to cut your design correctly. It's not going to to start on the right , but it will end up back to the right when it is done cutting the design. It will come back to origin point.

Sign Go is not FREE ware. The Flexi-Sign store on Ebay sells Sign Go and ALSO Flexistarter 8.6 and 10. I have purchased my Flexistarter there with no problems.. If you compare Sign Go to Flexistarter, Sign Go has MORE features and effects than the Flexistarter 8.6 or 10. Flexistarter will not vectorize images, but Sign Go will. Or have effects for text. Or write text on paths. But Sign Go does. I have Flexistarter from 7.6, 8.5, and 8.6,vs2 They are basically cutting programs. That is it. Nothing More. Not much in design features at all. You can do some text, but not alot more, like in Sign Go.. So, if I'm reading your post above correctly, you filed a dispute with EBAY and Paypal because they sent you BETTER software than the Flexistarter 8.6 or 10? Interesting

are you sure you are saving the vectorized image and not the bitmap? save as an .eps file. If you want to edit it later. save the svg file also. then import (not open) into Flexistarter. Hope this helps Here is the instructions for using inkscape.org to vector Vectorising in Inkscape This walk through explains the basics of vectorising in Inkscape. Step 1) Import your image. Click File>Import, find your file and click OK. Step 2) Select the image, go to the top of the screen, click Path>Trace Bitmap. Step 3) The Trace Bitmap menu will then open. Here you can select how you want your image vectorised and adjust the settings. You can also generate a preview. Once you are happy with the preview click OK and close the Trace Bitmap screen. Step 4) Now you will have your new vector image and the old raster (bitmap, jpeg, gif etc) image stacked on top of each other. Seperate the two and delete the raster. Step 5) Play around with your new vector image!

wow.. I saw them perfectly the first time and still do... Gav S... Maybe it's KARMA, Steve Jobs probably put a whammie on your vinyl cutter for using the APPLE logo....

uscutter sells it, clear/transparent in most any brand, size or thickness on the site, look thru the color choices, most at the very bottom of the color choices.

were you able to import it? Nothing more that I can do with it...

can't you use Signblazer..? Alot of people here use it, and you can probably get more help with that. I use Flexistarter 8.6 for cutting, because it can import almost any type of file.
