Good luck Marcel in all that you do... Like they said, stop by and sell hello every once in awhile. We'll cut Ken some slack, but expect us to give him a hard time with things. Have fun. and in case you didnt know, you were/are a great help to alot of people and enhanced US cutters reputation immensly by your desire to help each and every one of your customers and follow up with them regarding there issues. People like you that provide excellent customer service are hard to come by... Well miss ya guy!

Thanks fivestar! Bryan, what cut program are you using?
-
Yeah, sounds like a pain in the butt.... I know in winpcsign there is a function called "weld" that will merge the colors together, as well as in flexi... But since sign cut is just a cut program and does not support real vector editing, then you will have to continue to do it the way you are used to.

Here is some of my t-shirts that I made using Thermo flex [attachment deleted by admin]

It may be the stuff that works on synthetics, like nylon... I cant rember what thermoflex calls it tho..?

As a consumer, I feel that everyone is entitled to there own opinion... I believe that reputation is earned, not given. And if this type of company takes measures of threats to a cutter board, then i believe that there reputation preceives themselves. Its shameful that a company like that has to take measures like that becuase someone is using there name? I personaly would enjoy people using my company name... Because weather bad, or good. My name will still be out there...

Never had an issue with ThermoFlex... are you using ThermoFlex plus, or universal. and what kind of fabric are you applying it too..
-
I believe that you need to contact the vendor of that software, they should be able to point you more in the right direction

Ah, okay... well how do you do it in illustrator then?

Any chance of getting a blade holder for a Refine EH721 plotter?
TaterNuts posted a topic in USCutter Refine Cutting Plotter Discussion
I was just wondering if there would be any possiblity that someone knows where i could get a blade holder that fits the Refine/Joycut eh721? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250089308805&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D250089308805%26fvi%3D1 I know that US Cutter mainly deals with the MH version only...but The blade holder is of an all metal construction in the EH version and I feel that it would last longer then the holder for the MH721 as mine is feeling a bit sloppy... -
Can you use the Usb cable? as i believe, not sure, that extension may work and they are readily avaliable.
-
wont work as how? wont hook up, or just not communicate?

click view, place a check mark next to wireframe, you will see that there is actually 2 outlines
-
I see that you have the lines colored... In sign cut, are you seeing the seperate colors in the blocks on the right hand side of the screen??? try click on each color block if you see more than one color... I dont use signcut, but i think thats the right way

I get my shirts from a local supplier, there jerzees brand, fairly cheap, i think the 100% cotton ones are like 1.10 or so each, bad part is you have to order like $250 worth and have a vendors license. I still have plenty of shirts right now, so i havent ordered in awhile. As far as the cutting part. Works great, havent had any problems here at all. Add the shirts... I was doing decals for this guys tow truck company, and he seen my shirt with my logo on it, he said... Oh, You make those... I ended up selling him 25 shirts for their softball team... I made a shirt (a pretty sexualy explicit one) Said on the front, Hi, Im tater in a name tag style, and the back i made a logo up that said "Mister Taters Wild Ride" First ride free, ladies only, etc. etc. I was at a bar and the bartender said Hey tater... I was like, hi, she said, nice shirt... I showed her the back, then she was like, wow, where did you get that from, then i tell them that I make them... Next thing you know, shes ordering 50 of them for her bar with there logo on it... So, get the shirts, but you business name on it, wear it around town... or make a funny one that gets peoples attention... You would be suprised how many people are impressed with a custom shirt. PS (photos are just as easy to put on shirts with a regular inkjet printer that you probably have on your desk right now.)

You can vectorize it in WinPCSign... ITs a jpg image, so this should be easy, Alot easier then the pooh... LOL open winpcsign, goto file>import>image. Import your file. *** now to vectorize it using winpcsign. select the image which you want to vectorize, goto bitmap, vectorization, automatic vectorization. Now, you may need to edit some nodes (clean up image), like i showed you the other night.... Need anymore help, just let me know.

I use i think that its 400? or so, not too sure as im not near the press right now. Pressure is a little hard to tell... its hard, i know that.... I use a mighty press and i set it up so that i get very little resistance when the handle is all the way closed, machine empty., then i turn the knob one full turn... I guess thats heavy force? I apply for 10-15 seconds, sometimes less, it depends on weather im using a teflon sheet on it or not, These are the settings that I use on 100% cotton, or cotton poly blends My experience, Hotter is better (but not too hot where it will scorth the fabric), pressure is better, time is not... Start out low, and keep working it up to where you like it. by the way, I always peel hot/warm, even tho most of it says cold peel...

he wants just pinstriping, or a custom vinyl graphic on the hood?
