  1. so, do you usually reset the origin for each cut or "sign"? There is a jog option in the software which only allows it to go one way.. and it doesn't set the origin correctly. I gotta find someone with signblazer to give me some pointers to setting it up so I can get rolling... I can't wait to start drawing stuff up in illustrator and stick them everywhere haha. Anyone who uses SignBlazer give me a hand on setting this up?
  2. I would, I don't know how. Is there a calibrate button? Yes, I have set the origin. I wasn't until I set the origin all the way to the right where it finally missed the red button of the left by a couple of inches (by luck). The origin should be set..? in the middle of the vinyl? the center?
  3. Ok, I don't have a manual for my LaserPoint cutter, so I've been guessing on how to set it up. Everytime it goes to cut it either runs off all the vinyl backwards or the laser doesn't stop till it hits the left side red button. I have yet to cut a single thing! I'm using SignBlazer WinXP. LaserPoint How do I get it to STOP shooting itself in the foot and start cutting?! Where's the best place to set the origin? Is there a way I can receive a manual?

    Total noob, questions!

So, it doesn't NEED a lot of space. It can be put in a corner of a room and be useable?
  5. Ok, I got my 24" LaserPoint Cutter, and I'm super excited. My family business got it for all the signs we should have been making all this time, and now we can! We have so many uses instore for it (including my cruiser ) I do have a couple of questions: Setting it up, I think I have it set up right, is that canvas thing for the finished vinyl to get fed into, as like a bucket? I don't know even how to set the canvas up, I see it in the photo but not sure how to set everything up. Also, do you guys have just standalone on the stand or integrated in a table? I've seen one that was like in a table and it was nice for convience, but not sure if it was REALLY needed. And its kinda in a corner. Do you need a lot of space for this cutter? I have yet to set it up just yet because I haven't recieved my activation code and I need more cable, like 10ft at least to get to the computer. But I can't wait to get started, I've been working with Vector for a LONG time now and I've always wanted to use a vinyl cutter, so I'm itching to get cutting.
