That was a great commercial. Of course, I'm a sucker for any commercial supporting the military.Me too any thing that supports our military or show thanks and respect. Is it just me or did it suddenly get a little dusty in here?Must be allergies or something...
Yeah, little dusty.Ditto. Gotta a lot of active and retired military in the family. my brother retired after 27 years and is a home brewer now...i think he'll like this

jealous of your square footage. I'm in a 10 x 11 bedroom that does double duty. Its the major reason I don't get a heat press.
You have so much more room for equipment than I do.
But seriously, Dukem we have the same stapler.

thanks Jarrotto... Good suggestion! Thanks.I will keep this roll in a very safe place to avoid further damage.
I was so excited it was arriving today, I could't fall asleep last night! LOL
I had been able to get through to customer support before reading your response. The rep said he had never seen anything like this so I sent him the pic. I received a partial credit. But this is the second order in a row that I have received something that would never have passed QA/QC if it were checked prior to being shipping.
(OK, I think may be need i a nap).

so I finally broke down and ordered my first roll of AT65 along with a few other things. I love it when Fed Ex comes to me first. hee-hee.
The tape is not centered on the core. On one end, the core protrudes about 1/4 ". On the other end there's about 1/4" of exposed tape. only major issue I see is that on the exposed side, the tape is already starting to curl in.

Like!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you KIA designs. Is the kia part layered red over white or contour cut?
-
yup, been there!
in 2010 I wanted to commemorate a family trip to Walt Disney World with matching T shirts. There were 8 of us.
It was my son-in-law's birthday, my mother-in-law's birthday, my oldest daughter's birthday, and the youngest daughter's anniversary. I had each of our names and the year we took the trip in the design. Some of them said "It's my birthday", some said "Its our anniversary" and some said "Its their birthday...I'm here for the party". There were 3 different sizes (xs,m, xl) so I also needed to remember to adjust the design too. First one came out great. Second one I goofed...I un-mirrored the design to swap names and forgot to put it back in mirror.
I kept a couple of post-its on my cutter, laptop and desk with "MIRROR that puppy next time!!"

very nice and sweet of you to share your talents and gifts with others!

Great idea Wild Goose, I'll check with some of my local pro's. I'm not really a high volume user and can't really justify buying 100 yds of high tack annd 100 yds of med. tack I don't sell so hopefully they don't see me as a threat....
I figured there would be a personal peference factor too, someday I'll find something I can use.
oh, and I'd like world peace too.
The perfect application tap and world peace. Then I'm good.

ditto heat press...results with home iron doesn't yield consistant results

Step by step cutting, is when you have your cutter cut in sections, instead of all the way to one end and back.. The cutter will cut all of the first section, say you have the order start with the first 12",, It will cut everything in the first 12", then it will advance to the next 12" and on to the end, until the order is done.. Not a good idea to do with a detailed designs, but great to do with stripes....OH Thanks. I see your point on working on a high detail design.

hi Spunky...what do you mean by step by step cutting? I'm new here too and have never heard that phrase before.

Hi everyone! I probably put this in the wrong category, but i need some advice on application tape.
Is there such a thing as one "Perfect" Application Tape ? Up to now I've been making do with clear contact paper or Oracal Tape sheets from the craft store. It gets pricey this way in the long run, and I am thinking of making the leap to ordering a roll of application tape.
I use Oracal 631 and I have some Greenstar that I use for exterior projects. , Once I'm out of Greenstar, I'll likely switch over to 651 for our out door projects.
Here's what I'm looking for:
1-Can be used for Oracal 631 and the occasional GreenStar project. (if that's possible).
2-I'd also like it to be clear (a paper that has some transparency would be OK too) because I occasionally come up wth a design that is multi-colored so I need to see my registration marks.
3- something that won't drive complaints back to me if I have someone else do the application.
4- Last but not least, needs to be available in 15" width.
I appreciate the your feed back! I'm just not sure what to order and I feel sort of overwhelmed with all choices.
Thanks again....

And I was wondering where the heat press will end up.
