I have the same problem with the app tape I purchase from US cutter. It was my first purchase and I thought it was just me however, I have purchase some different kinds and was given some samples and I don't have any problem with them. The kind I got is clear, almost like a large roll of shipping tape. I hate it, it is very difficult to get the decals to stick to it for application. I don't even know for sure what kind it is, like I said it was first purchase and I didn't pay attention to the type but I know I hate it.

I have done some like this. I almost find it easier to work with the vinyl without the app. tape. Here is one that did using that method.

Here are some decals that I designed, cut and installed for my sister's new boutique. The layers are not exactly lined up but she actually liked the little imperfections and did not want me to re-do them. It has definately given me some practice. I had to actually cut some of the vinyl where the stuff hangs off of the letters. I could get it either in front or in back but I couldn't do both. Any suggestion sure would help. All in all for my first design and install I think it came out good. She had a couple people ask about the sandwich board the first day it was there. I can't wait to actually put it on the window.

Those are really cute. My sister just opened a boutique and I have been doing some signs for the restrooms and what not. I will post later. I will try to post some of those pics later. I really like the stick people.

You read my mind, I was just looking for those very things last night. The only problem is I can't open the eps. What program do you need to open the eps files? Can you post in sbd or jpg?

Those look awesome. I love the spray can. What kind of vinyl do you use and where do you get it? I am looking into doing T-shirts and I tried the spectra-cut from imprintables. I liked it OK, but it seems a little hard to weed around the small text. Any suggestions?

Right click on the file and go to properties. In the general tab there is a spot that says open with then will tell you what program it opens up in. To the right there is a tab that says change. If you click on that it will let you pick the program to open it with and you don't have to choose it every time it will automatically open with that program.

I am looking for a good crossed checkered flag. I have tried to take a couple jpg and vectorize but they don't seem to cut real great. The blocks kinda run together. Not real clean looking. I ended up making a generic one, but I would like some that have a little dimension to them. I can open zip and sbd files. Thank you for any help.

Fine in Austin/Buda area, we probably won't even see any rain. Which stinks, cuz we really need some.
