I saw the other day a dark green chevy pickup that was dark green on the lower half, and the top half was silver metallic. I thought of this thread and also thought how sharp that combo looked.

Welcome to the forums Jeff and Terri! You should post up some pictures of your van and anything else you did over in the recent work section! What kind of cutter did you guys pick up?
-
I'll give you that one Jay. Maybe I will tune in next week to see if the characters fall in place better.

True, I suppose not!

That movie is awesome. It was made during a time when people weren't absolute cry baby's about EVERYTHING. I have a Mel Brooks Bluray collection, and that is amongst many one of my favorites. Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein are definitely some of Brook's classic!

New user registration suggestion
piscespokerbrat replied to haulin's topic in Website and Company Feedback
I say we have ALL new registrations make a Youtube video of themselves hopping up and down on one foot while rubbing their tummy and tops of their heads for a minimum of 15 seconds. Any shorter, and they might be spam!! -

Welcome to the forums! I just ran my SC cutter off of USB yesterday on my Win7 laptop. I did however just buy a Laptop with an express card slot in it. I then ordered a serial port express card to plug in there. So, I am thinking that I definitely wont have any problems going that route! I know you already got a desktop computer to run your cutter, but I wanted to put that idea out there for anyone else who might read this! -

Well, that was quite interesting setting up SBE to the USB com port and blah blah blah. Ok, so here is what I came up with. This is the coffee cup with angel wings that is going right here on my gate (only a little larger in scale - the paper drawing was 10.8" x 24", the finished logo will be 14" tall and 24-26" wide). The blue ink that came with the cutter isn't very bright, but when the logo is black on white vinyl, that will pop! Here is a couple of pics.. -
Yep, I ordered my 25" SC cutter with stand! I also went ahead and ordered 35' x 5' Gloss White Hexis for the wrap on my truck. So far, I have spent over $600 today, and I am not done yet! I still have to order some Oracal 651, a squeegee, transfer paper.. ya.. lol I did get an awesome heat gun last summer at a yard sale for $5. Already have the exacto, so I am almost ready to go So, who wants to hire me to cut some decals.. lmao

Ya, that doesnt seem too difficult :-) I couldn't help myself tonight. I powered the machine on. I also checked the rollers, everything is in place, played with the origin moving the carriage left and right.. lol I feel like a giant kid in a candy store about now! Now, lets get the 18th here already when my vinyl will be delivered so I can play, er work, with my new toy.. umm machine.. "officially." -
