    I just did it how they wanted it ..

    I'm working on the sides now..

    Customer is always right , but take in consideration this job will reflect on you (other customer will not think that you just did what you were asked , they will think you are not capable to produce decent layout)

    I do not want to sound like smart a.. just trying to give my input (I've been in same position few times)

    2+ colors would have made a big impact - way too much info to digest when driving by it and very blocky . . . Just my 2c

    Also, I would use different size and type fonts for the business name and phone number.

    Come on people, did I put this in the wrong section? I've had 78 people look at this topic but nobody has even tried to come up with anything. What if I were to do it like a contest? Would anyone be interested then? What kind of prize do you think the winner should get?

    I think you are having wrong approach from the beginning.

    It would be different if you have at least tried to come up with design and post the result here, asking fellow members for the help /opinion.

    I bet a lot of people would've give you an idea or suggestion , but just asking someone to design it for you..........

    Another thing, designing logo even for yourself its not so simple , as example I changed (modified) my logo 3 times in last 3 years and I'm still not happy.

    So, my advice to you would be start working on it your self and take it from there.

    Some work done this week.

    First picture is one of the 6 banners (3'x6') for Cell phone resaler.

    Second picture is work done by combining printed Arlon vinyl and cut Oracal 751 vinyl.

    3rd one is printed and contour cut arlon vinyl.

    4th is lettering on the truck. Had to make it exactly as on other trucks. (oracal 751)

    5th is 4'x12' banner (customer installed it )

    6th one is window graphics printed , laminated and contour cut (arlon vinyl and laminate)

    how about this printer Graphtec cutting pro fc3100?

    Graphtec FC 3100 is a cutter (older one) .

    Before you buy printer you should decide what needs for printer do you have, and how much work you will be getting for the printer (printer should not sit unused at least solvent and eco solvent ones)

    Do you need wide format printer or just printer to print t shirt transfers and sublimation stuff.

    On this forum you can find a lots of very good and helpful stuff about printing. Try to find them and read as much as you can before you buy a printer.

    Also there is few proven printers on this forum who would be more than glad to do printing for you for great price (Jfough , stetson, Dakota)

    I have to chime in before you make mistake and use Oracal 651 on the boat..

    If I understand correctly, graphics will be installed on the boat which will be exposed to the salt water.

    In that case it would be wrong to use anything lesser than Oracal 851 (cast vinyl made for application lie this one)

    I understand it does cost a bit more than 651, or 751 but in order to get repeating business and good referrals it is necessity to use proper material.
