  1. Curing time is important for prints before you laminate them.

When printed vinyl should stayed unlaminated for  at least 6-7 hours , after it can be laminated (film  overlaminate or liquid laminate)

When I was using liquid laminate similar to frog juice I let it sit until it's dry to touch.

    Never have any trouble

Hope it make sense to you.

    Good luck

  2. That one was not the only post with same "topic".

You were the one who broke thread at half so it appeared like I was the one who started something.

Also, why did  you guys locked thread I started ( "Good Bye")

I'm not looking for someone to please me (I'm married and that would be her responsibility )but please do not pee on my back and tell me its raining.

I do not want to go any deeper and further with this discussion, so please if you do not want to understand my point  leave me out of any childish discussion.

    Thank you

    Dariyo

    PS

And NO I was not offended by shared file/graphics, because I know who I'm and what I'm.(people who know me can tell you same thing)

  3. It has nothing to do with spelling, I closed my account over there because forums are not place for any racial or ethnic remarks.

You should know it because you refused to listen what I was about to say.

I did not ask admins or mods or anybody else to do anything about it, I just mentioned  how I feel about it.

I did not feel comfortable on  Vinyl forum because of those remarks and that was the reason I closed my account there.

I had privilege to meat  lots of nice people and I wish them the best.

As of some mods they should read the post before they jump in conclusion .

This forum is place where I've start and learn a lot (still learning)

There is place and time for everything .

    Thanks for reading this

  4. Nice work.

Speaking about installing vinyl on inside of the window, I'm trying to avoid it as much as I can, but some landlord don't want anything applied on outside of the window.

Some boroughs here charge extra for permit if it is outside ( funny , but I experienced myself)

If customer wants it from inside I have him /her sign statement , so I'm not responsible if  s..t hits the fan.

  5. If you do not stock to much of the vinyl (a lots of 50 yards rolls) do not worry.

I keep my vinyl in plastic bags all the time and my basement is with AC(because I have printer  and I have to maintain temperature )

  6. Oracal 651 is great product for a lots of stuff not just "short term" signage.

Using it o daily basic without problems.

You will have problems with vinyl peeling if surface was not cleaned properly, or if shelf life has been expired.

Oracal 751 is better and I always give customer option to go with it but..... nowdays  most of them settle for cheaper option.

    Good luck.

  7. Mutoh is great printer , but 46" is not such a great size.

First, most of media comes in 30" or 54" rolls.

Second, banners are nice money makers and you will not be able to produce 4' banner.

If you are spending money on printer DO NOT buy anything smaller than 54"

    My 2 cents.

    Good luck.

  8. To compare vinyl to printing (banners in this case) we have to take few  things in consideration:

    1. Printer

    2. quality print set up(on printer)

    3. Type of the Eco Solvent ink used (Roland, or 3rd party ink)

    4. Price payed for material.

    5. Time spent producing  banner.

My cost per SQFt for 13OZ banner (ink and material ) is $0.24

    I charge $4.5 sqft , so my profit is...............Nice
