    Last Minute Banner

Waver is good in situations like when customer wants yellow lettering on white background and you advice him/ her not to do it, but customer insists on it.Or wrong spelling in this case. Applying vinyl on surface where it Should not be applyed is out Of question in My Shop.

    Last Minute Banner

Back of the banner does not have proper coating /finish (unless it's double sided banner) and vinyl does not adhere properly to that kind of surface so it would be big NO-NO. When customer insist on something I do not recommend I have them sign a waver, so I'm covered when c..p hits a fan.
  3. I would be yin price range $35-$40 which is good for my area.

    Thanks

I've been reading on this forum for good period of time and I can not avoid to see that less and less people Use magic words "Thank you" So if you request some information, file, or any other sort of help on this forum, it would be nice To THANK person or persons who spend X amount of their time in order to help you.

Getting Screwed Over and need A Printer ASAP

@roxanneupnorth I feel bad for your life partner (if he/she is still present) In the beginning I thought you can not understand due to my poor explanations (English being my second language ) , but now I see you are just lost in something it's called common sense.

Getting Screwed Over and need A Printer ASAP

@roxanneupnorth This thread was not about your understanding of business practices.Someone was looking for printer and you chimed in by referring someone .....even if there is enough good printers here (jfough,Stetson, james ,quest etc) who always help members with advices an ofering help when needed. This is second thread you wrap yourself in vines of nonesences. Change your attitude because you never know when you might need help from someone on this forum. One thing is for sure, you did some reading on sign 101(which is not bad) and now you are trying to adopt some business practices which you do not undertstand completely.

Getting Screwed Over and need A Printer ASAP

$65 shipped is kind on low side( bit over $2.50 sqft) I can do it for$3.00 sqft + shipping. My prices are not Any secret. Contact me if you are Interested. At "roxanneupnorth" Why promoting some printers when There is enough Printers on this forum ( beside myself) Not cool. At bannerjohn No reason for deleting name Of the printer, if it is permited to us toOffer services it Should be also permited to forum members to expose us on Wall Of shame if We do wrong.

    Imagine...

It was not my intention to start any big fuss . Just want to show how prices for our services go lower and lower every day in MY AREA. I have a lots of posts on this forum but I've never asked for pricing advice, which means Im adjusting my pricing accordingly to My needs and market were my customer base is. And it seems it works good for me,because it allowed me to work with nice equipment with zero debt, and nice customer base to keep me bussy without giving my services for next to nothing. Signage is very important for every busines , so when I make sign for customer it has a bit more value than few yards of vinyl and few hours of work. When painter make a portrait of you He does not use logic $150 in material if I charge $300 I still make nice profit. I'm not saying I should charge so I can retire of one job but..... This is what I do for living, and I think I'm doing it good. Wish you all the best . D.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

    Happy Holidays
  19. Congrats on your purchase. For prints same size using Oracal 3165 and Lamex overlaminate I would charge about $9.00 sqft (for 100% COVERAGE) As figuring out your expenses and profit I would advise you to get one of the Estimating softwares. I'm personally using Estimate and have no complain . Good luck with new toy. You will love it.
