  1. That's awesome.

My idea is not so original and could be illegal.

My idea is to admittingly steal your idea.

That is, unless you sell these premade? If so, then I'd just buy one from you and  keep the patent folks away.

  2. Looking for a tig welder in action. Man/helmet/hands/gear

I have been searching all morning in my collection and online and just can't seem to find one he likes.

I've searched this forum too which is always great BUT  "weld" has been used in so many posts, my eyes hurt from reading so much.

    Thanks!

  3. Sorry to hear that. Good luck with sorting it out. We do have a camera system, both doors are posted "24/7 Video Surveillance" and you can clearly see 8 cameras around the store. We were broken into last year. The City police could not help. We were told the guy was a "new criminal face" to our area. His face was blasted on the local news channels as well as the area papers and still nothing.

Then at our home, we have land across the street that we are building on. A thief comes three times WITH a trailer, steals all of the brand new appliances, rolls and rolls of chain link fence, ac unit, wiring, tools and so more. Over 20k in items. We catch him on video, the County detective picks him up shows him the video and he admits to it. We have the scrap yard receipts matching - his tag and license and everything he stole from us. He gets a slap on the wrist because it was a construction site, not a home. No restitution, no time in jail, not even probation.

Don't count on the police. We dealt with city and county with no results from either. Cameras are good for you to know who robbed you so you can deal with them in your own way.

  4. outside of regular vinyl, etching and shirt orders, another restoration job came in this week. 2 license plates. I've never done a plate before so the fun begins! Paint is blasted off one so far, the other is a little tougher and soaking in paint remover at the moment. We have a hobby (trains/model cars) shop in the same block so I was able to find the correct colors in enamels. I'll post pics when complete.

  5. some customers want the screws removed prior to installation, others do not. for those that do not, I lay the vinyl as normal leaving the excess bubble over the screw/rivet. after the vinyl is on and applied as normal, I then go back with a heat gun and pin and make a small hole in the center of the screw/rivet and work the excess air out.
