I am having the same problem. I am using BGS vinyl and high tack paper R-tape. The design will not come up with the application tape. I have tried back off the pressure on my cutter, peeling from the back, extreme squeeging on front and back and still no results. I ordered the vinyl with my cutter so its more than 18 months old, could this be the problem?

I am going bonkers. I originally had my screenprinter do this design but the customer wants to reorder only a few so I was going to do it in vinyl, I thought it would be easy but...... Where the blue "SING" sits on the blue line ,I wanted to create some space to distinguish the letters from the line and am having real problems. I have uploaded the Corel from my screenprinter for any help you can give me. i have tried welding, combining, locking, etc, etc, and they each create some sort of undesirable effect. and by the way, the black background represents a black tee, it is not to be cut. Also I did the "Sing" in the Juice ITC font, and the other letters are comic sans. THanks so much for any help or suggestions... warhillchoirREV.pdf warhillchoirREV.pdf

Has anyone used their Copam for cutting Twill? Is it better to use the Pressure sensitive twill for cutting? Is there a way to create a sew file between the cutting program and embroidery digitizing software?

I have Signblazer Elements. Is there a way to make the fonts bolder. A client has chosen a font that has very narrow columns. THanks

AFter months of agonizing over which cutter to get, I ordered a Copam yesterday. So you guys will probably be hearing from me a lot. I am very excited !

I also am having problems with importing EPS files into SignBlazer Elements. Some will show up, some won't, even though I am putting them in the same file and using the exact same steps to import them. The most recent I am having trouble with was downloaded from a clip art site. Does it have anything to do with a file being too large? Thanks.

I am obviously not doing something right. I imported a JPEG to Inkscape, traced it and then exported it as an EPS file, but I could not get SignBlazer to open or recognize it. Plus I could not even get that EPS file to open back up in Inkscape. I definitely have a lot to learn in the Grahics World. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

I am just full of questions, this is my third post this morning. I am brand new to vinyl cutting and have a lot to learn about graphics. How do I know for sure a design is "cut-ready". If I load a regular JPEG or whatever into SignBLazer elements, then what? I noticed there is a Vecorize option, but when I tried it, it said it wasn't the right type of file. Any tips you can offer to get me on the right track, will be greatly apprecited.

Thanks, that helps and explains part of my problem.

But aren't there two versions? One that has more features? I have Elements Thanks

I was coming to the forum to ask about adding fonts and "Voila!" someone else did it for me. Before I strain my brain with all this, will this also work on SignBlazer Elements? Thank you !

Thanks guys, I'm starting to make a little progress

I see the Vectorise tab, but I do not see where it says you can change it to Monochrome. I am working in Sign BLazer Elements, does that possibly not have it? Thanks.

Got the new COPAM to the point of cutting a few test designs last night. I think we finally have the blade depth pretty good, but it is tearing the vinyl a bit as it cuts. Definitely not a smooth cut. We lowered the speed to 30, but that didn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

So sorry, I am an idiot, you were right, the activation code was in my spam folder :-
-
When I go to the link to try to get the activation code, it says my serial number has already been used, I guess because I first registered through the software. So now I am not able to get an activation code from either option. Can you actually cut in the trial mode? or just play with the software? Thank you !

Hello Other than price, how is the Copam different from the M-H Series cutters? Is it worth the extra money? I want something for cutting team names and numbers, window vinyl and some twill. I am mainly embroidery and this is a side-line, so there won't be huge production. Would love opinions on which way to go. Thanks ahead for your input.

Does the Copam "perform" better the the M-H Series cutter? Does it cut better, smoother, more detail? Will it cut a larger variety of materials?

Hello: I am mainly an embroiderer. Just got a heat press last summer and now have been debating over which vinyl cutter to get for months. I mainly will be doing vinyl, but since I do embroidery it makes sense to get something that will cut twill. Will the P-Cut or MH Series cut twill? Or do I need to go a step up? Thanks ahead for any advice.
