    2 ceramic tiles with vinyl

Not Wrestling, but if you're talking about the word "Family", it looks like Aquarelle or Passion. Carol

    2 ceramic tiles with vinyl

Hi Kim, Mostly to sit on a stand. I get $25 for the 12" tile and $35 for the 16" tile. I do lots of coasters, too. Alphabet coasters are $20 / set of 4. Single initial coasters are $12/set of 4, and name layered over initial are $16 set of 4. Carol

I make lots of the alphabet tiles. They've been one of my best sellers for more than a year now. Carol
  4. Hate to hear that. I like my Pcuts.

what was for first paying job

2, 8ft signs and 1, 6 ft, sign, for a local small business. Did it way too cheap, didn't know what I was doing, but it practically paid for my pcut. Needless to say, I was hooked. Carol

    I've really done it now!

I think I'm about to hyperventilate. Seriously. It's time for me to add up all my purchases over the past 2 weeks. I've bought a Sunie heat press, an Epson 1100 printer, over $300 in t-shirts & stuff, approx. $340 in heat press vinyl and transfer paper, throw in a $30 catalog, and another assorted $800 in inventory, PLUS I've still got to buy transfers! I'm dangerously close to the $2000 mark (probably am 'cause I'm afraid I'm forgetting something). And to think, it all started with me reading all these heat press posts - and snowballed from there! I will have to really bust my butt for the next month to try to recoup my expenses. Nothing like a little motivation, I guess. BTW: my heat press came in yesterday and I'm already in love with it. Carol

$12k? If I'd just spent that much I wouldn't be hyperventilating. Nope, after I'd gotten over the shock of what I'd done, I'd work like a madwoman afraid to even take a day off, trying to get my money back. I'd really love to have one of those, but since I can't come up with that kind of cash right now, I don't have to worry about that one. Have fun with it. Expensive toys we like to play with around here....

Look what I did with the epson 1100

Thanks a lot! Now you got me thinking about photo shop? I am so bad. I am NOT going to buy it yet. No, I am not. I really am not. lol!

Using your vinyl plotter to decorate cakes??

NO way! Not in my machine! Uh-uh. I like having fun and all, but food in my money maker? Not happening. Carol

Those mouse pads look great. Can't wait to try my hand at them. Ordered some last night when I ordered transfer paper.

    I've really done it now!

I like your reply, fivestar! MONEYMAKER! And FutureSgtsWife; I understand. Believe me, I do. I've already bought 2 cutters; for home and store, and I'm terrified to realize I'm going to have to buy another heat press and printer, too. Darn. I better make LOTS of money on all this stuff because duplicating everything sure does run into lots of it. I started a couple years ago ordering signs for my store, then stumbling across wall words - and wanting too many of those expensive things - caused me to buy that 1st cutter. And here I go with more equipment...am I crazy or what? And if this is just an addiction, will my insurance pay to "treat" it? LoL! Fader_Graphix, I was shocked to see how much transfer paper cost! $54 for 100 at Coastal. Any cheaper alternatives? Think my biggest shocker was the difference in the cost of vinyl, though. I will be much less wasteful with heat press vinyl than I am with sign vinyl. Sigh....why do my passions have to be so freaking expensive?

A little more practice and they are getting easier

It's a done deal. Just went to Staples online and ordered the Epson 1100. On sale for $149, after using a coupon I had, final price was $124.98 - and free shipping. Next week will be like Christmas around here with a new heat press, new printer, and $300 worth of t-shirts and stuff! (Also like Christmas is how BROKE I'm gonna be after all this comes out of my bank account.) Wish me luck!

Okay. That does it! I've got to have one of those, too. I knew peeking in on this forum would have me buying something. I guess it's the Epson 1100. Oh, well, long as it makes me money.

    Pants on the ground ????

I'm like, why bother? Just skip the freaking pants and go out in your shirt and underwear. Lots more comfortable, and sadly, it would even look better! This idiot reminds me of how it feels to get caught in a rainstorm, jeans all wet, heavy, and sagging and I can't wait to get them off. His may not be wet but they can't be comfortable.

    SUNIE heat press help!

Thanks, guys. I can't wait to get my heat press. It shipped today! CarolGrace
  16. I'm new at the heat press thing - so new I don't have my heat press yet. I just ordered a Sunie 15x15 last night and some siser easyweed vinyl for it. Now, I keep reading so much about heat transfers and printers. My question is, do I have to have a printer? Or is this only if I want to make my own transfers? Assuming I don't have to have it, will I really want it? (dumb question...of course, I'll want it) Thanks for all the info, guys. CarolGrace

I don't know, but that's a great idea. Bet I could sell lots of shirts for dogs around here. I'll be watching this thread with interest. CarolGrace

    SUNIE heat press help!

After reading so many posts on heat presses the past few days, seeing how much you guys loved them, I finally bit the bullet and ordered the 15" x 15" from Sunie. Then, ordered black, white, and pink, siser easy weed. Can't wait to get them. Guess my biggest worry right now is, will I regret not getting the 16" x 20"? (Wish I'd asked this question before I jumped up and ordered.) Carol

Is 3M Scotchcal safe for making indoor wall graphics?

http://sign-supplies.signwarehouse.com/search/index?query=chalkboard I bought the chalkboard vinyl at signwarehouse.com. The link above should take you directly to it. Remember to INCREASE your pressure when cutting chalkboard. It's much thicker than Oracal 651. CarolGrace

How small you want to cut !!!

The blades are awesome and CleanCut is awesome to work with. I ordered the wrong blade and they shipped me a new blade at their expense BEFORE I returned the first one. I've got to order another for my other machine. I hate to think of cutting with anything else now.

    Believer in CLEAN CUT BLADES

I absolutely LOVE my clean cut blade! I had no idea it could be so much better. Worth every single penny.

    Looking for Passions font?

google "aquarelle" font. It looks an awful lot like Passion. Can't remember where I found it, but it was on one of the free font sites (maybe dafont.com - but I'm not sure)
