I was wondering if anyone has that little underline banner/tail thing you see on baseball tees. Like where the "S" has a tail and it underlines the name. I've tried free handing it but I can't even get close... Is there some kind of graphic or formula for this?

What Kind of Vehicle do You Drive?
veddderman123 replied to SiboleGraphix's topic in Off Topic Section
2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee For those running diesels my brother inlaw recently started running his on grease or oil. Sounds crazy but he swears by it. It's saving him a ton. I don't know much about it, all I know is it's free. he has normal fuel in one tank then the oil/grease in the other tank. You use the regular fuel to start it and then you switch over to the oil/grease tank. lol If you're interested google it I'm sure the net it full of useful info on it. -
I have a screen press and a vinyl cutter so I understand basic printing and cutting... But how would one print on guitar pics? Any help or ideas? I saw a youtube video where they used an actual printer but I know there must be a cheaper way.

What do they need it for? Sign? decals? letterhead? t-shirts?

This is my first 3 color attempt. It took me a second to think what color goes first, second then third. The black and white are linned up (perfectly might I add.. ) and then both the black and white are then layed down on the red. It was a lot of work to produce one sticker. Sorry for the crappy camera phone pic.

I've got a question? Yesterday I was bringing some decals over to my friends house and as soon as I got in the hot car I watched the decals roll up and start peeling from the backing. It was like almost instantly. The decals looked like crap after that. The application tape had all kinds of bubbles in it and it looked really bad. They still stuck and looked fine but if I would have been selling them I would have been really embarrassed. I use just normal clear application tape and oracle vinyl. But my question is.... Is there a better application tape to use to prevent this from happening?

Unstuck Decals in the sun or heat???
veddderman123 replied to veddderman123's topic in General discussion
oh yeah. the temp was hot. I'm also concerned cause I'm a mail carrier and when delivering mail it gets REALLY hot outside. If I'm shipping decals to paying customers I'd hate for them to arrive in the condition those decals were in yesterday. -
Looks SWEET! When you do all these cool multicolor designs do you stack the different colors on top of each other or are the different colors perfectly aligned into the design?

Digital Printed Vinyl Graphics. (using home desktop printer)
veddderman123 replied to dbtoutfit's topic in Show your work
WOW! Looks awesome! How long will that last out in the sun? I've also wanteds to do this for some time but I've never known where to start. The Price on the printer is more than reasonable, I think I'll have to start talking the wife into letting me get one. lol -
I'm looking for something to go across my brothers gun safe. I need some kind of outdoorish looking spread. I think I remember seeing one on these forums but I can't seem to find it. Like with a deer, a turkey, some boarding leaves or trees... That sort of thing. can anyone help me?

Looks GREAT! Was it a pain to get the vinyl to stick to the wall and not the backingtape??? This is still a problem I'm battling with wall decor.

Thanks so much for all the help this is what I put together for him. My brother was totally stoked. The two color came out great I'll have to post a picture of the actual decal. Thanks again.

My brother is getting into taxidermy and he needed a coors logo for a rodeo barrel for this creative squirrel mount. The problem is he tried putting a clear coat over the decal and it started to eat at the vinyl. But he saved it and it still worked out. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk156/remingtonm1917/104.jpg[/img] http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk156/remingtonm1917/091.jpg[/img] http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk156/remingtonm1917/107.jpg[/img] http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk156/remingtonm1917/083.jpg[/img]

most unusual request I've had yet...
veddderman123 replied to veddderman123's topic in Show your work
Actually I think its "poor Squirrel" I think its only one cut in half to look like 2. hahaha lol -
what kind of backing tape do u use??? I've been trying to do wall art for some time and I keep failing. I got some 631vinyl but it still prefers to stick top to the backing tape over the wall. I can get it to work with some patience, but for a customer that still has a hard time grasping the concept of a decal I wouldn't want to sell it to them. I need to figure out how to get it to be an easy install so I can start selling them to friends and family.
