Well you will click on the file if it is an EPS and download it to your computer. From there you can access it through your cutting program. Usually import and re-size/color to your specifications. If it is a jpg you will need to download it to your computer and vectorize using either Inkscape, Illustrator or there are many other programs that can help you out from there.

Can you post the file up so we can take a look at it? As far as the postscript thing, I always pick #1... but I'm not sure what that means.

I refer them to my competition Then they get to deal with the headache of a irritable, cranky, demanding, whiny, cry-baby. It is a good trade off. In fact I have had my competition call and berate me for sending them a difficult customer. It was awesome!

A raster is a photograph and is edited by pixels only - as in the jpeg shown below, a vector is a graphic and can be edited by nodes. Although you can create "paths" in Photoshop, you have to export them out to Illustrator to edit their nodes and fill them in for a usable and cut-able graphic.

I agree, I could walk you through this in Photoshop, but not Illy.

I have Illy CS on my home & work computer. It only asked for the serial number and it works fine. I must not have the newest version.

Start putting in applications for FREE Vinyl now, and you should have a bit to work with by the time the cutter comes. You can order the colors you would like to work with later. I started out with 6" app tape and an exacto knife. Basics are good
