Being brand new I have many questions. I have spent months reading the forum and you folks amaze me with your knowledge and willingness to help others. Kenya has been a sweetheart exchanging Pm's with me to help me get started. I was thinking maybe if there was a thread like this every day Question of the day? Some of you that have all this knowledge could write a question you feel would be helpful to all us new people and answer it. I realize that most question are asked over and over and answered over and over. But the pros would know what question people probably have that aren't answered... I have one LOL You have a scrap piece of vinyl that is 8" x 8", would you be able to place that small piece on a cutter and say cut a decal 6" x 6"?

nice job my cutter (Pcut) should be here this week

Won a Pcut for $ free shipping from US Cutters tonight. So at least I know I got a good deal there. I am going to order the oracal 651. Do I have to order the 24" because that is what the machine is or can I order the 15" since I plan on doing small decals to start with? Oh boy I am excited but nervous about the programs. I am OK on the computer but I was lost when I tried to look at these programs and try to do a simple decal. To put it mildly I was absolutely lost LOL.... I know another new idiot... I am retired so this is a hobby for me right now anyway. Hope I can master it..

A couple of suggestions for USCutter
mr300s replied to desertdog10's topic in Website and Company Feedback
I know this is old but just stating out I have to comment on this. It is great to see a company as big as US Cutters listen to it's customers and not only listen but take immediate action and correct the problem. Hats off to you... -
Thanks Pogo now if I can try to figure one of these programs out in the next month I may be able to cut something LOL

I am in Punta Gorda, anyone around my area?

Well I hope so I am a little gun shy and have been lurking on the forum for many months taking in as much as I can. When you have no experience in this type of work you are always second guessing yourself. But I guess you were all in my place at one time. With so much it looks a little over whelming sometimes. All I want to do is make some simple decals and maybe some small signs

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping someone would respond that was close and that they wouldn't mind showing me their set up and maybe a few tricks before I bought my machine. Maybe no one likes doing that anyway not sure and if so I would understand. I am thinking of getting the p cut and I see that is the machine you are using. I plan on doing things for family & friends mainly decals. I am retired.....

Wow I wish someone was by me and I had an offer like that very nice of you

Just like everyone else on here at one time or another I want to get a cutter. More of a hobby to make some small decals etc. I have been leaning toward the Pcut. Would this be a good choice or is there some better options out there now. Thanks folks for any input I have been lurking here for months and know there are some knowledgeable folks on here.....

Guess everyone is too busy making stuff to reply

I have been on here for a few days have read hundreds of posts. So I felt it was time to join and ask my own newbie questions. I can see there is a lot of knowledgeable folks on here and that they are more than willing to help. I am thinking of getting a cutter and it will be more for a hobby than to get into business, although I would like to make some stickers and decals for car windows. Right now I have no plans to get into sign making etc. I would like to make decals for friends and maybe some clubs I belong to. That being said what machine do you feel would suit my needs? What will I need to get started? Do the cutters come with a program to make decals. I am talking about making something like this. Thanks in advance....
