http://www.graphteccorp.com/support/manuals/FC8000/FC8000UM2510.pdf Go to 8.4.2. There is the error.
-
Flexi uses hpgl. Your second post is the firmware version. Make sure there is nothing in the que waiting to cut. Unplug the usb and see it you still get the error. If you don't get the error, the computer is probably still trying to send something in gpgl.

What cutting program? Don't mess with the firmware.

Pretty sure after 11 years they got it worked out. Nice plug for your company. Maybe ship out a bunch samples for us to test!

How do you manage multiple small business on your mobile phone
bikemike replied to Kenla's topic in General Help
Same here. There is nothing I can do with a mobile device anyway. Need the computer to set things up. With a call or text I just tell them to email what they are looking for and will get back to them when I get to the computer. -
Newbie Needs help
bikemike replied to dearmitt1976's topic in Table TITAN Series Vinyl Cutter Discussions
This is the ms skeeter way of doing it and it is dead on. So thank ms skeeter for this. Do you have your blade depth set correctly? This is how to set correctly. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should just barely see and feel your blade tip out of the bl -
Long shot, but try hitting the origin button before bring up the cut window.
-
Have to ask. You did hit origin again after loading the paper the second time?

Laserpoint 24 Rounding Corners
bikemike replied to Larryc39's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Like Skeeter has said. If you can not change the offset in the cutter then you have no choice but to set it in the software. Rounded corners is always an offset problem unless as mentioned, your blade is broke or worn or maybe bent. Try a new blade and set it with the Skeeter method. -

Don't have one of them, but is there an offset in the cutter itself? -
First I have ever heard of something like that. Can you do a short video showing and hearing it?

So, Darcshadow takes time out of his day to do searches for you and 1 out of 5 ranks a thank you. Cool, I am sure he appreciates that. 4 out of 5 result in complaining. Not cool. Last time I checked every search engine on the net does not discriminate. If darcshadow can find them on his own time, I am sure you could do the same. We are all here to help the best we can. However, I do not think we are here to act as unpaid employees to do your searches.

I have signgo pro and have never used prefeed. I just unroll more than I need and then jog back and forth until the vinyl is tracking right. (on my old tiger master) Been a while with that cutter. I always thought the prefeed would just mess up the tracking and I would have to set it all up again after the prefeed.

If it is regular Mylar you will need a carrier mat. You can not cut all the way through anything without destroying the cutting strip. Trying to get the Mylar off a cutting mat may also destroy the stencil.
-
Does look good. How about on regular vinyl? Let's say 651.
-
I was thinking the same thing. But Skeeter has a very good point. You have the PDF, just search for the ones you really need and you will find out real fast if they are free fonts.
-
Did you cut the holder in half like the picture? If not, that could be the problem.

Titan vinyl cutter with Mac
bikemike replied to Tincup19's topic in TITAN Series Vinyl Cutter Discussions
If it is truly a plug in, you should be able to cut from illustrator by going through the plugin. Not sure how you launch the plugin from illustrator, in corel it is in a drop down menu. -

They will communicate to a point. However, they are not speaking the same language and have no idea what the other is saying. -

Where you using a plug in on the PC? Usually, a cutter will never print anything. I am sure you can get something for the mac, but I do not use one and can't be sure. One of the few with mac's will chime in soon. -

All depends on what you have for software on the mac. May have to run windows on it. -

Keep Center Of Letters Doing Stencil
bikemike replied to Ashley G-L's topic in VinylMaster CUT, LTR, PRO & DSR
Should be able to just make a tall skinny rectangle and subtract it from the letters. Or whatever it is called in your software. In studio pro (flexi) it is cutout. In corel draw it is shaping-front minus back. VM? not a clue, never used it. -

Cant update firmware ce5000-60 from 1.3 to higher
bikemike replied to Marinjo86's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Tried to update my ce5000 once, it failed and I decided if it is working fine, don't mess with it. Works perfect just the way it is. Just like Skeeter said.
