Had a few extra license plates, so....... Can you guess the name of the bar on the Ontario one or do I need to redo it?
-
I must be getting old. Someone PM me with what you are thinking. I would hate to put that thing up and someone say "what the &^$#?" But it would kind of be funny.
-
You win. Great! I don't have to redo it. Hey Alien, I am really wondering.......

Pricing help: 185 apartment number decals
bikemike replied to shoul29's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
By my calculations, the decals only come out to $8 for all of them. So you are only going to make money on time really. My estimate would be $1 each including install for a total of $185. But that depends on what "I will be installing each one individually" consists of. -
I don't use any reference. Get the roll on the rollers and very lightly pull through until is just starting to unroll. Clamp it down and then run it out while watching the edges. If it starts to track closer to one of the rollers, adjust slightly, run it back (while watching again) Do this until it tracks right. Slight adjustment make a lot of difference. Make sure you roll out at least what you need for the cut and leave it loose. Don't roll the roll to tighten it back up. The shock of it trying to unroll will probably knock it out of alignment. Gets a bit frustrating sometimes, but you get the hang of it pretty quick.

Web design tool

I don't think this is very ethical, but. Using firefox go to the site. select tools select web developer select page source edit it to what you want. (and all file, image, and everything else you need to create and there locations) (windows explorer may do this, but I don't care) Will it work? Not sure. If it does, let me know. -
I am a bit confused on this thread, but I will try. How about this one? It is from the AI file you linked. Snowflake.eps

Took a bit of playing around with settings since my white 651 is acting wierd, but I cant believe this worked. I know my off shore would not have pulled this off. And yes, it was pretty easy to weed after I found a magnifying glass. Eyes are not what they used to be. PS. that is a speck of something on it. just a bad pic setup (or maybe an x-acto pick) Darn, just noticed in the pic I missed weeding a spot in the middle. Told ya I couldn't see much of that. And yup, x-acto scar. Zoom good thing!

OK, I got a bigger magnifying glass. Bring it on. Clamp on at wally world (wal-mart) for $14 or something like that. (thats canadian $'s, so cheaper for the ones to the south) And I too have a pair of glasses in every room. I still have not got to the point of remembering to take them with me to the next room. Lot better with each room having pair.

It is nice to be able to cut that small. I just hope no one finds out I can. I don't think my eye balls would like me very much. Maybe I need a bigger magnifying glass. Took me about a year to move to the graphtec. Still got a lot done with the other, but now I wonder how I did it. The noise difference is hard to believe. First time I ran it I didn't think it was doing anything.

Got it. Thank you.

I am usually 7 cents per sq/inch, plus 50% per extra color. So... 3X15X.07=3.15 3X15X.035=1.575 3.15+1.575=4.725 rounded up to $4.75 If here is a lot of design work, or difficult weeding then it goes up depending on time. (I usually guess at time) Also if it is very simple and the design is already done, or simple text then I will go as low as 5 cents per sq/inch + 50% per extra color. Installation, I usually go for $2 per sq/foot for a clean install. (not removing any old vinylor 5 years of road grime on a truck)

$4.75 without installation.

Thanks for sharing.

X2. I have cut 6 1/2 feet on my Graphtec and would not be able to find where the start and finish met. On my Chinese cutter, there would be probably a 1/4 inch difference between the 2. As far as the small stuff, the Graphtec blows the Chinese cutter away. The difference is just to much to put into words.

Anyone have that trucker guy in a simple single color ready to cut? I need to cut it at 9" max and this is the only one I have and it is way to complex for that size. Thanks in advance Mike Keep_On_Truckin.eps

If it helps, I just did a job for myself with 8300 and the weeding was a major pain in the neck. Like OW said, it was like it was the adhesive that was was holding it back. And that was no more than a minute from cutter to weeding Never had that with oracal. (my choice as best vinyl)

Just to let you know, I did a LITTLE touchup and it worked just fine. Customer was very happy with it. Thanks again.
