  1. You do know these are made in China at the Creation factory, and shipped here, right? So, were you expecting for USCUTTER to open that box ,from China and test every part on it before they shipped it to you? Just wondering. How would THEY know if the wheel was broken? They don't make the machines. 1 post, of only a complaint, after 2 years of owning this machine says a lot... It has been said many times on here, that you can use a strip of reflective tape over your cutting strip and it will work fine for your cutter.

I have yet to see Walmart or Best Buy, test my computers before they sell them to me. You get them right out of the box from the manufacturer. Same here.

So what your saying He11 is that if you bought say a frozen dinner from the store and it had a dead rat in it, that would the stores fault?? I wouldn't think so! To me, that would be the manufacturer of the frozen dinner! Dis the brand, not the company my friend.

I build computers for part of my living so when my friend needed one real quick for some work at 2am he brought me with him to Walmart to help pick one out. When we got it back one of the case fans didnt work and it would crash before it finished booting. So you know what we did? We took it back to Walmart with the recipt and they exchanged it for another one. It didnt seem to matter that Walmart wasnt involved in the manufacture of the computer.

And He11, before you waste any more breath on Selltopia and their stooges that dwell in this forum . . . Remember one thing. . .

    F!

Im actually an airbrush artist to He11 and i got into it for the same reason but i do a HECK of a lot more than just that now. A graphtec may be what your looking for. Even one of the little desktop sized unites could work if you dont need anything to big. Oracal 631 works as an amazing stencil material btw.

Well, for people that read this in the future, this scenario is probably 1 out of a thousand or more.

    Not likely

  2. Well like I said they did not realise how important you are or they would have let every thing else go just to accommodate you.

And if you knew the first damn thing about business you would understand that they are all important. You do realize that notifying customers about the status of their order is AUTOMATED on just about every website out there dont you? I ordered tickets for a concert on line a few weeks ago. They sent me 2 emails confirming it making sure everything was in order. I ordered a heat press from HPN and they immediately and automatically sent me an email telling me it was out of stock and when to expect it. Or for example the email i already posted on here from a USC competitor who now has my business. Its a normal practice. As is adhereing to their own policy they list on their website."Orders placed by 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time ship the same day" "Orders shipped from our Seattle warehouse reach most of our Western customers within 2 to 3 days, including 2 days to Northern California." Grow the fuck up.

I guess its half my fault tho. When i ordered vinyl thru USC i half expecet some kind of crap like this to happen. Its why I didnt get my Graphtec thru USC. Fool me once. . .

  3. Because Fellers wont carry Siser.

And honestly, ive dealt with this company enough at this point to know that a lack of communication and poor response is not rare. I should have received an email about the status of my order. I still dont know what the status even is, it just says Awaiting Inventory. What does that even mean? Did they order it? Are they sending it to me from the factory? Will I be updated about its ETA soon? When will it be in? All of those questions need to be answered. It is simply bad policy combined with bad management. But thats commerce for you. I have other options and the freedom to do business with who i chose and the choice is clear. I wont be spending money with USC any more.

And just so were clear this wasnt a last minute order or a rushed job. I ordered my vinyl with plenty of time to spare, its USC that screwed up, not me.

"Orders placed by 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time ship the same day"

"Orders shipped from our Seattle warehouse reach most of our Western customers within 2 to 3 days, including 2 days to Northern California."

  4. kinda think you should be planning better for your sales. a lot companies have stuff listed that they do not have in stock, but it has already been ordered for them to restock. fellers the largest wrap supplier has done it to me did i get mad sure but inventory can be off, like in my case. did i find a work around yes i did. do i am will i still use them sure! this sounds like really bad planning on your part.

I use fellers for 99% of my stuff and they always call me the next day with an update on when things will get to me and where they ship from. They also dont charge for shipping if the order is over 100$ and its the fastest shipping possible. I have ordered vinyl they didnt have in stock and so they shipped it from Avery and it still got to me in no time flat. USC does not have that kind of service.

    At any rate:

  5. I cant not stand dishonest sales practices. I sell things on line out of a stock of vinyl that i carry. I am always updating and relisting items to reflect new materials in my inventory. But my question is, what should i do when a customer orders some thing from me on line that i dont have in stock? For instance a certain color of vinyl that i am out of. Should i send them an email saying i am out of that stock? Should i delist the color or should i put a notice on my ad saying that there may be some restocking time required for certain items?

The reason i ask is because last Sunday night i ordered some super expensive ass vinyl from US Cutter and it has yet to be shipped. I made sure to order it at a specific time so that i could have it for this weekend when i needed to get some work done. But guess what! I received no email notice saying it was out of stock, there was not notice on the order form and yet the item was still for sale without change on the web site. I had to log on to the web site and check on the status of my order manually. That was when I saw my order history and my most recent order : Order Status Awaiting Inventory. And it gives no ETA what so ever. Are you fking kidding me? Sorry, I don’t really have time for this. I have a company to run, just because US cutter donest have their act together on this doesn’t mean that my company has time to waste.

This is the second time i have had this same issue with an on line company and I AM DONE WITH IT. My wholesalers all get my material to me by an exact date that they tell me before i even order. I cant stand this middle man crap any more. At least the last idiots I dealt with at HPN promptly sent me an email informing me the item I had already paid for didn’t exist. But I will never do business with them again either.

I can understand this company not having an itme in stock. But this is not the first time USCUTTER has taken their sweet time getting some thing to me. I had this same issue with an MHRefine I bought a few years ago and then had MORE issues dealing with the problems it caused. I ordered my Easyweed vinyl from here because it was 3$ cheaper than the other places. Not worth it.

USC has been good to me in some ways but I have to say no more at this point.

  6. Yes ive looked at the USCutter prices, they are about the same as every where else I dont think theres a way to get it cheaper. My wholesaler doesnt actualyl sell heat transfer vinyl much cheaper than the Siser is on here either now that im looking at it.

  7. I just got a heat press and I want to buy some Siser vinyl but this **** it expensive as hell every where i look. A 5 yard roll of the kind i want to use is 100$! Fellers doesnt carry this stuff wholesale and im wondering if any where else does.

EDIT: I think the only answer to my question is in buying larger rolls of vinyl to get a discount. But still, i think a wholesale source should be cheaper.

  8. Just my advice, i would give the polyester 352 another chanse. I can persoanlyl say ive had some amazing results with it once i learned how to use it. It actually weeds esier than regular vinyl for me.

  9. I think the MH machines are fine for learning on. But i have to agree with every one else . My Graphtec has been my saving grace, its whats kept me from quiting and giving up. Im still not an expert but im getting jobs and the actual cut is one less thing that i ever have to worry about. Thank god! In fact, ill be working on a job iwth it today. As long as i make these little give away stickers for the client big enough i know ill have no problem :)

  10. The answer to the question of this thread is to buy a better cutter. Ive been building computers for 10 years, ive never had a cable "go bad" unless it got sucked into a vacume cleaner. I tend to jam them into pockets and cram them in the smallest holes when traveling without ever having to think twice about their durability.

Just way way way to much crap to deal with if you ask me.

Then again signcut did this same kind of crap to me just now on my Graphtec. Opened Flexi and problem solved. SC freezes on me and does all kind of stupid crap when using it to so i would step up as soon as you can.

  11. Im making my vector .EPS from TIFF and JPEG files in adobe il using the auto trace method with settings manually tweeked. When i open my images in SC it almost always tells me i have duplicate objects. If i delete them it ruins my image and if i dont it cuts fine. But my images always display wrong in the pannel, parts missing or parts filled in that should be empty. This makes it hard to add weed lines. Whats the deal?

  12. Ive wanted to sell wall graphics using 631 so that it wont remove paint when people take it off and i have made some large graphics that i have been experimenting with lately. But i cant get it to work right. I just did a new large design and i used medium tack Transferright Ultra and i couldnt get the vinyl to lift off the carying sheet and it was ruined. I did it again and tried it with hi tack transfer take and i still couldnt get all the vinyl(very small intracite details, dificult work!) but i got most of it. Then i had a very hard time getting it onto the matboard i was trying to put it on! I had to spray the paper with Rapidtac to get it to come off without damaging the vinyl.

Now i look at the gfx most other people are selling and it looks like their just using a permanint vinyl because they advertise them all as indoor/outdoor and say their large gfx can aslo go on our car(i.e. NOT something like 631) So are most people just using non removable vinyl when they sell this stuff?

  13. This thread was my motivation for gettin a roll of Oracal 5700 black reflective for the purposes of vehicle graphics.... Please forgive me being new and having crackhead like motivation similar to a chocolate labrador thats just watched ducks fall from the skies... This film is REALLY Cool!!!

    Bruce

No, take that and turn it into something great. These photos are fking awesome and reflective is fking awesome. In fact, i was working with some black Oracal 5700 just now for a advert im making with my own vehicle. But its night so ill wait till day so i can measure my car better. Ive only got a few yards, ive ordered several colors of the 5700 a few yards at a time. But now baby, ill be buying in 10 yard rolls, well worth the 99$.

This post has me motivated and inspired. Tomorrow ill post what im working on :)

  14. Does anybody know if the CE5000 is supposed to have a cutting strip like other machines? I see that USCutter sells them http://www.uscutter....B-GRPACE5000TEF but mine didnt come with one and ive seen videos of people using this machine and theirs didnt have one either.

Ok havent used it to much yet but im loving it so far. Am i correct in assuming there isnt supposed to be a cutting strip like other cutters use correct?

  15. Not thanks. I get enough exposure to toxins from the vinyl. I think Ill not inject mercury, activated aluminum, aborted fetal tissue and genetically modified virus DNA into my blood. Theres a million people a year who die from allopathic medicine so I will stick my herbs and fruits. Besides, i already have enough brain and neural issues as it is.
