Great idea! Now here is a stupid question...what grommets did you use? Could you please show me the underside of the lid of the mason jar, please? I just made fifty 'Red Neck Etched' glasses for Christmas and I would love to put grommets on the lid. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Wow, wish I had heard about the above before. Stripped the striping and graphics off of my boat and it took four wheels at $35.00 bucks pop! Thank you for this information...

Thank you Mz. Skeeter once more. I might have to do that. I have been to a lot of auto paint suppliers and they told me that "no one does pinstriping anymore". A friend is an auto painter and he is going to talk with his rep. regarding vinyl pinstriping. He also told me that they only 'paint' stripes. They don't use vinyl pinstriping anymore. I haven't given up...damn it, I will find some pinstriping in Canada! Thanks again everyone!

I do own a Graphtec. The boat is about 26 or 27 feet long, maybe a bit longer. The original striping on the boat consists of 1/8th, 1/2 , 1 inch, double pinstriping and larger stripes, plus graphics, three different colors. To cut a run of 1/8 inch striping, sort of intimidates me, especially applying the application tape, but I guess that I could cut numerous widths in one shot. DUH! What vinyl would you suggest for marine applications? I have alot of FDC vinyl on hand 4200. I think that this would work. But I thought it would be so much easier to buy the pinstriping, then cut the largers stripes, boat names, numbers etc. myself. But by the looks of it, I might have to just buck up and cut them myself. I am sort of committed now, as all of the old stripes have been removed.
Just to let you know, I needed to use FOUR stripe remover wheels to take off all of the stripes, at 30 bucks a pop. Tried heat, good on some of the stripes, no good on the silver stripes.
If anyone should know of a supplier in Ontario for the double pinstripes, please let me know. Thank you Mz. Skeeter...

I have searched and searched some more for suppliers in Canada that sells pinstriping to apply on my boat. I have found some that are selling out of the States, but this is not cost effective; re: the shipping costs are really high. I have already removed the striping off of my Regal (what a nightmare) and it looks clean, but really naked. Does anyone know where I might purchase pinstriping in Ontario, Canada? I have even called numerous auto parts stores and they told me that no one uses pinstriping anymore. HUH! What about all of the boats out there? Most are not painted, just vinyl. I can cut the larger width of the striping with my cutter, but the thin ones would be a pain.
ANY help or suggestions would be soooo greatly appreciated...
