Select the text then select Node Edit. Two boxes appear at either end of the text. The one on the right adjusts kerning, the one on the left adjusts line spacing.

That may not even be a font. It may just be something that was drawn for the yearbook.

When you buy them, make sure of what you are getting. There are different brightness and number of LED's per meter. Here is some good information on the different types of LED's. http://www.flexfireleds.com/pages/Comparison-between-3528-LEDs-and-5050-LEDs.html

You can buy 5 meter rolls of the lights for 8 to 12 dollars on eBay. If you get the single color lights you only need to hook them up to 12volt power. If you get the color changing one, you need a controller. I've made a couple of things and they are easy to work with.

Vector Magic used to be free online. Then they moved to a "Credit" based fee system.

Tracing is the only good thing I have found in SCALP Pro. (Maybe the rhinestones too) For cleanup, I like using SignBlazer's Node Editing.
