  1. If you get the edge of app tape, and fold it back over on top of itself, and slowly slide the app tape back at a 45 degree angle, you can sometime get it back off... I've done this a few time on larger decals where the app tape got wrinkles, and wasn't acceptable.

  2. If you are planning on doing custom wording, you could charge per letter so the custom can figure out the pricing dirently from your website, rather than waiting to hear back from you... that would most likely cause a customer to go somewhere else(waiting for a reply).

For pricing, I'd highly recommend SignCraft's pricing guide, or some type of pricing software.

    Good luck...

  3. Welcome from Katy, Texas...

I'm not sure how much 400 pounds comes out to in USD, but starting out on a budget... you can't go wrong with a 24" Refine. Although it's a little loud when cutting, it's an absolute work horse. I had one for about a year, and loved it!

  4. Bad news come in 3s. First it was Farrah Fawcett, now Micheal Jackson. Who is next?

He was the third. Ed McMahan.

Actually... he was the fourth. Although it was about 3 weeks ago... David Carradine(Mr. Kung Fu) passed away.

  5. Draw a line, or use a combination of circles/orals to make a curve. Select your text on line option. Move your pointer close to the area where you want to type. Click your left mouse button once and the text line should come up blinking. Type your text, change the font, change the size, adjust the angles, etc. Delete the object(s) that were used to make the curved text.

  6. What are the advantages of installing this USC driver? Is it mainly for people using USC branded cutter, such as the Refine, PCUT, Laserpoint, and Copam? Or would someone with a Roland or Graphtec benefit from having this driver as well?
