CAN DESIGNS FROM OTHER PROGRAMS BE SENT TO BLAZER AND CUT

I believe, as long as it converted to a .eps file, it should work fine.

    Vinyl?

I recently bought about 6 different colored rolls of Oracal 651 from Fellers. So far so good. Got my first banner request yesterday, so I'll see how it works on banners, soon!

    Question about combing items

I have an .eps image that I have imported to SignBlazer, which appears to be multiple layers. I add text below the image, and when I try to "combine" all the items so I can send it to the cutter... everything disappears! I've tried saving just the image, and then adding the text... but I get the same result. What am I doing wrong?

    Question about SignBlazer tools

I purchased a pcut from UScutter with the SignBlazer software. After activating the software, and using it for a week or two, I noticed they all the tools aren't available... why is this? Is the software that comes with the cutter, not a full version of SignBlazer?
  10. Here is the .vectorized .png fil came up with... if you want me to email you the .png file or the .eps file, just let me know.
  11. The attechment he post is an .eps file. You should be able to open in any cutter software. If you were trying to open it in MS paint or another program to just look at the picture, that's where you probably got the error. Give me a few minutes, and I'll see if I can't get you a .png fil of the vectorized image.

  17. Try using vectormagic... it's a free program that seems to work pretty good.

    walk through using vector magic!!!

I've used vectormagic on several images to them from .jpg to .eps format, with great success! Other than a little node editing, signblazer has imported the images, and cut them without any problems!

    ebay vinyl

I recently purchased some oracal vinyl off of ebay from the seller by the name of signwarehouse. They are a decent sized online supplier, so I was a little surprised at their shipping turn over rate(about 10 or 11 days). Once I got the material, I didn't think much about it since it was the first roll of vinyl I have ever used to cut. They sold me Oracal 641. Later to find out, it has a very short outdoor life. I was looking for 651, instead. I just rather purchase something over the phone or in person, where I can ask answers right then and there.
  20. Just curious how many people leave their pinch rollers engaged over night, or for long periods of time on the pcut? I've heard talk of pinch rollers becoming deformed, if ss... how old would something like that take? The first night, I left my pinch rollers engaged on material over night, and the next morning the material was smashed from the rollers... lession learned
  21. I think the title says it all... I understand the speed, and pressure/psi, but don't have a clue about offset. Thanks!
  22. Oops... had it backwards. Thanks for the corrextion, I'd hate to steer people wrong
