I work part-time at a fire dept., where another co-worker is a member of the Houston Fire Dept. rescue team. He saw a few things I had made over the last week or two, and mentioned that I should try to recreate their logo patch. I guess they don't know who to get into contact with to get new stickers made, so he asked me to see what I could come up with. So here's my first attempt. The first image is the only thing we could find online that he knew about. The second image is what I came up with using different pictures I found online, converting them to png files, then vectorizing them with vectormagic. <edited because I posted images to be shared with the USC forum members, not the entire ebay community>

That worked like a champ :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I took your .eps and put it straight into Signblazer and cut it several times. Stretched, scaled, and original. Looks GREAT with NO distortion. Thank you !!!!! When my green vinyl shows up, I'll scrap my "K" and use yours if you don't mind. What software do I need to get to be able to convert to a vector file so that I don't have to bug everyone with requests? You shouldn't need any other software than signblazer(if that's what came with your cutter). Go to brandsoftheworld, find the image you want, make sure you download a .eps file, open signblazer, click on import, click on the downloaded image, add text, and cut! That other "Stogi" design could easily been completely designed in signblazer within 2 or 3 minutes. You just have to practice and play with all the features... don't get me wrong, I'm new around here as well, and a complete n00b compared to alot of people on this site, and I think I'm learning by trial / error. -
I'm almost as far away from you as one can get in the states... Houston, Texas. Shipping, once on the truck(once you get your tracking number), it usually takes about 5 to 7 business days... but I'm not sure if it would take longer going a little further north? BTW... welcome to the site.

The skyline that I used, was an actual photo of Houston I found online. After I vectorized it, I had to go in SB and convert a ton of "curve" nodes to corners, lol. And the "Figure eight", was another actual picture that I converted. He didn't see it had to be identical, just close. I kinda thinking that isn't something I want to try and cut... so if they end up using it, I may just out-source the job. Thanks for the comments!

I'd be happy if I got that much work offered to me in a week But thenagain I haven't started a company, and just cut for fun at the time being. Congrats on a successful day!

I have a 24 pcut without a stand, and haven't had any feeding problems. I have the cutter setup on a folding table next to my comp desk. I just use the little material feeder that came with the cutter, seems to get the job done.

Well... now you'll have something to heat the press with.

You may want to try using vectormagic instead. It seems to work pretty good! Just do a search for vectormagic on yahoo or google.
