BCG - Some say a third roller isn't needed, other say that it couldn't hurt. I also considered it after doing a 6 foot run, I didn't have much issues with drift as I did with tenting. Still haven't bought that 3rd roller yet ... because I haven't needed to do a 6 foot run again. Although I am now noticing that rollers and/or the traction bar are feeding at a slightly different speed/distance between the left and right. Not huge, but at some point I would guess that it needs to be swapped out or a 3rd roller added. I'm trying to convince Ken to post some on eBay so I can buy them cheap

you can always have a virus, however, not all are active ... it's just a matter of having decent antivirus software to detect it prior to downloading it - on in the case of a bit torrent / Ares type of download - that the antivirus will detect it immediately upon completion of the download. That being said, you can always delete the offending file without activating/trigger it to start.

yes. tiny is because it's used to pin point your registration mark when you're contour cutting. Now I can't testify to whether it's weak or not, but you can see it, so I'm guessing the laser is either on (in your case), off, or sometimes on - sometimes off. So if you can see it, you're good to go. bummer about the shipping damage. when it makes a whining noise, is it only when a specific action is occurring? (i.e. carriage moving left to right, vinyl scrolling forward, etc.)

I would've stopped in sooner, but I was actually working my "real" job. Sheila, I couldn't agree with you more. While this is still the best forum that I lurk around in, it's still nice to be appreciated by a simple acknowledgment. That's what keeps this forum so great - not to mention all the great advice (professional and personal), and all the great personalities! Everyone here is the bomb. Unless football is the only sport that has huge fan turnout, I would say that it's safe to leave out any footballs. That would make your t-shirts suitable for all sports (i.e. Volleyball, Basketball, etc.).

I think watching the P90X infommercials and imagining myself doing those exercises should count as a workout.

Okay, so my mac did some kind of automatic update with Office 2008 for Mac last night. When I fired it up this morning, all the fonts are weird. I thought maybe it was just my entourage, but it has effected my browsers too (both safari and firefox). Any suggestions on how I change it back to the way I had it. curse the dang microsoft for doing tard-o stuff like this to a mac.

That's soooo ridiculous. Once i had all my auctions cancelled because someone complained that I put in my listing that I would only accept PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders - no personal checks. When I asked why my stuff was take down, they said that the seller doesn't have the right to discriminate against a buyer based on their (the buyer's) method of payment. My response to that was some like - Why not, you let seller discriminate against send stuff to Hawaii, or the method to which the sender want to ship. You even let them gouge on the shipping too, especially when shipping outside of the "lower 48." I then petitioned for a filter check boxes "Will ship to Hawaii," "Will ship to Alaska," "Will ship to Puerto Rico," "Will ship to APO/FPO." I was then told that my request was too difficult to accommodate ... Yah, because "Gift Item" is such an important filter feature. Just like I said in another thread ... eBay sucks! I hope to one day hear Kathy Griffin say, "Suck it eBay!"

Same here. Got myself a starter cutter and make all kinds of stuff for friends and family ... just about none of it for any kind of money. Just thought I'd tinker and let the sign stuff to the professionals. I just read and replied to you other thread. Too bad the sales people at One Shot weren't more helpful. Most times they can answer your questions pretty quick. I just wished they'd put price tags instead of their lame sku tags on stuff.

If the stuff you're cutting is pretty small in size, then the clear app tape will work just fine. It's when you get to the bigger stuff that can become more difficult. A wet application will buy you more time, and the adhesive is pressure sensitive, so unless you start to press down on the vinyl, you'll have a little time for final placement.

clear tape is plastic. the "white" tape is paper tape, so when you do a wet application the paper tape will release (after being sprayed). stormy's solution is pretty standard. There are a few other application fluid recipes listed, but it's all just about the same.

yikes! can't US Cutter offer some kind of substantial discount (if not free) adapters to those who have macs that bought the Refines with the new chipset? I'm sure they looked long and hard to see want kind of mac-friendly cutter they could buy.
