You guys need to put a pop-up menu for products on the top of the white navigation menu for the home page. The red menu items aren't distinct enough. Actually you guys would be better off putting the red/white stuff on the top nav bar, and moving the white black stuff to the bottom nav bar. Trust me, it'll navigate a lot more intuitively for your customers.

Questions - Wifi USB - better photos - Cross cutting vinyl
haumana replied to isotel's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
Never tried it on a wireless print server, don't know if anyone here has. Media is held in place by vacuum fans, traction bar and pinch rollers. From what I can tell, there is not way to adjust the tension of the pinch rollers, unless you're willing to take it apart and change the springs yourself. Media loads from the back. I use a scissors to cut the media when completed. What specific pics are you looking for? -
do you have administrator rights to your profile? are you one xp or vista?

Just thought I would share this about seat belts
haumana replied to nbeaton's topic in Off Topic Section
ditto. I am so sorry to hear about that loss. How tragic the circumstance. :'( When it comes to kids I need to drive around, I always think that "Murphy" will catch up with me and there never take chances with kids not wearing seat belts. Even if it takes the little ones forever to buckle up. -
I would give Sign Blazer Elements a try. It's free (in Trial mode), it's fully functioning, and there is not time expiration. You should be able to find it on the US Cutter website.

Cutters will work on Vista, but seem to be bit more problematic. They are all budget cutters, the MH being the bottom fo the line. The PCut you get a vacuum fan to help with keeping the vinyl flat, the LP is just like the PCut, but you can contour cut. Everyone likes theirs for different reasons. I have LP and have no complaints about it ... just a lot of questions in the beginning until I worked out most of the 'user errors'.

single color. the shading of the person really took some time to clean up. I also separated the person from the rest of the logo so it's not all connected. TKD.eps TKD.eps

haumana replied to midwaste's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
I totally forgot about that ... it's probably because all I really do is very small decals for kiddies. Hehehehe. -
that's a new one... I've never heard for software warranty and not hardware. Hmmmm.... keep us updated.

If it's still givin' you a hard time, attach the file in your next reply and let one of us try and cut it to see what's happening. -
KEWL , send me a pic LMAO!! Now how did I know you were going to say that??? LOL Renee Would that be considered sending questionable images of the internet?? Hmm.... a skinny 3rd grader in a bikini, now a consenting adult. Hahahaha. I wish I had a place that I could have a farm animal pet. I still want to get a Nubian goat, they're so cute; and like Renee said, you have to get them in two so they're not lonely . But I don't think the boyfriends wants more animals in the yard that he needs to 'scoop the poop' for.

You guys are funny. Not too worry, Rodger takes (and gives) a good rub to everyone that deserves it ... and he has a cute ass ... well he probably has many, but I've only seen the one in his avatar.

NEWBIE...Can't get my LaserPoint online HELP#%^!*
haumana replied to onefootoff's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
Welcome to the forum. Little black squares usually mean that the blade carriage is pressing down upon one of the red "kill" buttons. That's to prevent the motor from burning out if what you're trying to cut is outside of the cutting width. That can usually be fixed by repositioning your start position. I suggest that you add to your forum profile signature some of the equipment you're using so that we can help troubleshoot things in the future faster (i.e. PC of Mac, operating system, cutting software, etc.). -
I recommend vectorizing with Inkscape. It will only do black & white, but it vectorizes way better than SBE. If you need full color vectorizing, check out VectorMagic.com. It costs a couple of bucks, but might be worth it for you to check out.

HELP! LP cutting text on top of each other
haumana replied to print n tyme's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
glad you got it to work. 1. turn the caps off. 2. what cap? the only moving parts are the blade carriage, traction feeder, and pinch rollers. 3. if you need help with pricing, try looking in the business practices bulletin board or doing a search. -
huh? are you talking about digitizing an actually photograph for cutting?

Asking anyone if I could get a tattoo never crossed my mind ... with any of the three that I've gotten.

HELP! LP cutting text on top of each other
haumana replied to print n tyme's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
Hey Jay - I never noticed that tab there. Wow ... I be edu-ma-cated. PnT: There are some font that have letters overlappin one another (i.e. script, etc.). When it comes to fonts like that, the cutter will naturally cut each letter individually and end-up cutting the overlapping lines as well. In a case like that use the 'weld' in SBE so that it see it as one entity rather than numerous ones. If you're still running into trouble after Jay's advice, attach your SBE file to a reply and let use take a look at it. -
LP24 going crazy, stopping in the middle of cuts, etc.
haumana replied to midwaste's topic in LaserPoint Cutting Plotter Discussion
I used to get eh initializaion error when I didn't have the right cutter selected. If selecting the LP cutter in the "Cutter" field, than try the Creation PCut CT630. That was the cutter to be used prior to the release of an actual LP driver. Another issue that might be causing some of the slashing you're getting is if your file is just too big for SBE to handle nicely. Try opening the file in Illy or Corel, or whatever other vector software you have. Shrink the graphic and resave. In other word, just because you end product needs to be 35x24, it doesn't mean your original file needs to be that size. Because it's already vectorized you will lose no quality. One you import the smaller file into SBE, that's when you should be resizing. Let us know how it goes. -
Does anyone know what I can use to clean a rubberized mouse? It's not a new mouse, but I want to keep it. I haven't used in a while and when I pulled it out of the draw today it rubberized stuff is all sticky and looks to be melting. I've tried Gun Scrubber (safe on rubber), but it really doesn't seem to do anything. I've tried adhesive, wax & mark remover, but still no dice.

No worries Don. I don't anyone here was offended. We're just trying to have a little fun. I'm like Rodger though ... sometimes there are levels of 'legal' when it comes to software
