  1. OK I just got a new computer and cannot get my LP24 to cut through a full 24" width. It gets about 1/2 way and then does random lines. I've come to the conclusion that is has something to do with the USB even though I never had this issue on my previous machine with the USB. I was thinking about using the serial since my new computer has the serial port. Are there any different drivers that I need to make this work with 7 or can I just pop in the serial cable between the computer and cutter, fire up Flexi and go?
  2. yeah it seems to reset on it's own....i think i know where i goofed though...I have a small roland that feeds from the front...didn't realize this one needs to feed from the back. LOL...aye.
  3. playing with the offset definately worked. now...last thing i am having a problem with is when I start a cut. How far through should i feed the vinyl? I send it like 2 inches past the rollers but for some reason when the cut starts, it spins it back and ends up dropping the vinyl out sometimes. How do you make it so that it starts cutting where it is instead of backing the vinyl up and then cutting?
  4. yeah thanks..got it working now...just not great...it seems to make funny cuts when it turns a corner on a letter.
  5. I cannot get this thing to work for the life of me. I plug in the USB and win 7 auto installs it. I go into flexi and select the laserpoint. Hit send and nothing prints. Says holding and then nothing. Under device manager I am seeing that it says COM6....I have no com6 in my selection so I choose USB0006. What is going on here? I am about to throw this thing away I am so fed up with it. Also under devices and printers I see it setup on it's own a USB <-> Serial connection but I don't see the LaserPoint under there. What did i miss?
