Price to do shirts when customer supplies them
23putts replied to splash0321's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I would charge 3-4 per shirt if there is a flash on both sides, 2.50 for a dark ink on a light tee. These are screen printing prices. Slipping in a couple $15.00 screen fees wouldn't hurt either. Beware of people that supply their own shirts. Did they inspect each one for spots or holes? Very doubtful. That could come back on you. Good luck... -
I use corel, so I would open the photo in photo paint. Then turn the photo into a black and white line art playing with the threshold until you get the right amount of details. Save, open in Corel Draw, run a trace.

Well done........I got a dumb question.......What is the light table used for?
-
image is way to small to begin with...Thats the problem.... Enlarge the image to 8x10, print it, image will be pixelated on the edges, get a black sharpie, trace the image to smooth the edges, put it in your scanner, scan it, now run a trace on it. A lot of work, but that is the only way I know to make it work. Easier fix would be to find another clown in some clipart that is already vector...

Yeah, my kayak and I spend a little time on the river. I tend to head south to the White River. Its just south of Dora.

New tees will cost you around $2.00 each, so I would offer them $.50 each for the whole lot of tees and see what they say.
-
Give them a price on having their logo digitized...(Expensive) then show them a nice sew out of text only and convence them this is the best option. If they do not agree, politely explain you will not be able to help them on this order. When they go somewhere else and face the same problem, they will be calling you back....

My first shot at making a T-shirt.. Also could use some help please...
23putts replied to BLKSUNSHINE's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Looks good.......I like how you think out of the box when placing the logos. The vintage look is hot and that requires printing all over the tee. If your going to produce a lot of them, look into screen print. Plastisol will outlast the tee if cured properly, and there is no weeding. I could print 48 of those front and back in a couple hours. Food for thought.... -

Here are some pics of our event we are preparing for this weekend. Launching 48 tees at an alumni football game. The cannon you see pictured will launch a tee close to 60 yards @ 80psi. It creates quite a buzz in the crowd. Sounds like a shotgun firing! Its going to be a BLAST, but it will fail in comparison to the party afterwards..... www.ozarkmountainscreenprinting.com www.spudgunextreme.com

What do you want to know?

Give away. That particular school sends me a lot of work, and I graduated from there.

open Corel X4, click on help, click on corel tutor.

Be creative on placement. I run screen prints up to the collar and over the sleeves on some designs. Depends on the design and what the customer is looking for.
-
I opened it up in corel photopaint. Change the image to Greyscale, then to Black and white,(playing with the threshold a bit) then inverted the image. Pretty good results if you ask me. hm.EPS hm.EPS

Yeah, the fun has been planned. A three day weekend has been a long time coming! The kayak is already on top of the Jeep for Sunday. The pork butt goes on the smoker Sunday evening for the laid back feasting on Monday. Then.....back to the grind! Hope everybody has a kick butt holiday! We all deserve it......

Thank you 4 the compliment...we take a lot of pride in what goes out of our shop. Yes, we screen printed them all. Took about two hours once we had all the screens set up.
