Guest gracewriter Posted May 28, 2008 I just saw that this evening here at the FD... I pictured that as something you all cooked for dinner.

Guest gracewriter Posted May 28, 2008 Same as a weathervane which moves with the direction of the wind. New Rules: If you know the answer you cannot say it out loud. This contest is for the most creative definition you can think of. Then if we we're inclined we vote on the most creative. New words will be posted in the mornings. So don't forget to vote the night before, or anytime you want. Slop, you won two votes yesterday, you may want to change your answer....I'm on the edge of my seat to see what you come up with on this one.
slopchops 1 Posted May 28, 2008 My answer would be obscene.

Guest gracewriter Posted May 28, 2008 My answer would be obscene. A+ Slop, you showed good restraint on this one! Although I do think you could keep it g-rated and would love to hear how you would explain that creative definition to a 3 year-old.
haumana 1,220 Posted May 29, 2008 Today's word: weathercock Hint: It's not an arrogant weatherman. I would say it's the guy's equivalence to a "in the mood" barometer. Depending on the weather you get from your significant other - "Today it's icy cold, tomorrow will be torrid. You might see some fair weather when the weekend comes around, with possibilities of high heat."
Guest gracewriter Posted May 29, 2008 Huamana LMAO!!! You win!!!! Got all my votes for a week and a half! Too funny!
Guest gracewriter Posted May 29, 2008 This actually does mean something point-device Hint: it's not the ruler your teacher used on your fingers when you were caught daydreaming.

Guest gracewriter Posted May 29, 2008 Too funny Jenny, I thought you were talking about "point-device." Glad you didn't read them, so I'm still going to give you a vote for the best faux pas.
Guest gracewriter Posted May 29, 2008 The little laser pointer that instructors use? Nope. Hint: It's not anything like it sounds.
