Primal Decals 621 Posted May 24, 2016 So being only just over 1 1/2 years new or so into learning vinyl,design,cutting etc from not knowing anything about it, I learned a few things, Research all you can or what you think you should as best as you can.You might not know the terms or words of what things are called like the pros and brainiacs know but it takes time and at some point it will be easier just takes time .I still knock my head against the wall cause i cant think of the word i need to use to explain what im looking for or need help with.. Knowing what to ask for and how to ask for things or questions to other forum members is a big thing to know as well.Just dont ask for something for nothing, offer at least something back to everyone, even if its help,a few bucks,advice and or info.Offering anything is better than nothing no matter how big or small , At least you offered .Thats important...... Without anyone , I,you or anyone would never learn anything at all without the help from The forum elite pro members and know it all's lol. My biggest pet peeve lately has been those who have been on here awhile or you know what your doing already and you are making money and you wont spend the $40 or so bucks for FInd My Font. Really ? The time it takes even tho not much for someone else to go look up a font or search their memory banks to provide an answer because you cant buy a simple program that will get you looking for yourself is just nerve racking. Granted Find my Font doesn't always help but at least you tried your own resource first instead of just having someone do it for you because you think they always will. I always try my own resource as much as i can for what i know,at that point if i cant get it i ask,But i tried first and make a note to others that i tried as well. Since owning it , i make it a goal to help all those who have taken the time to help me and sometimes those who may be new here but i limit myself now ,but I started making a comment about buying Find My Font or similar software when i do help someone. If we had to buy it to help us then why dont you as well.Money is money.We dont spend money to save you money. Sooooo Buy Find My Font .try it yourself , ask for help,offer any help etc in return,be Thankful and say a little more than just a thanks in advanced ,Show gratitude instead . Some might laugh at me but i dont wraps not yet at least ,but i seen a lot of people who are long time members or been on here awhile that are always asking for Vehicle outlines, so i went and bought Pro outlines Cd and online access ,it wasnt cheap but i did it so i had another way of giving back and i could help the chosen ones i feel that deserve gratitude for helping as much as you guys do for me . So when i see one of you guys asking ill do my best to help you out like you have helped me in return. Im still learning and have a long ways to go but i got where i am because of my new friends here . mrfibble 77 Posted May 25, 2016 everytime ive asked for font help ( 2 or 3 times ) ive got a responce and its been REALLY helpfull to be fair id never heard of find my font but now that i have ill add it to the list of programs i need to by when i have the readies first off will be the desktop version of vector magic as its like $300 but all I can affored is paying the $7.99 a month once I have it and now find my font ill be able to help others like others have helped me the help is GREATLY appreciated by us that just plod along with little monies and even fewer toys THANK YOU 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
