nastyhabitsracing 0 Posted July 19, 2015 So I kind of had a post like this before, but im running into the same type of problems again. My computer's motherboard took a crap and im in a pinch now. Im trying to hook my creation pcut ctn630 up to another laptop I have with windows 7 (I think lol) ive tried 1054 different downloads and read 458 different posts and this and that and nothing is working, and im loosing my mind!!!!! I found an easy 30 second download of SB, but every com port or us port setting I try still gives me the same result: cannot open the output device. error initializing cutter. on top of that, it doesn't list my pcut ctn630, just a ct630 and a ctn630HPGL FREAKING OUT!!! thanks! MadHatterGraphix 1,258 Posted July 19, 2015 Do you have the PCut driver disc? Is it installed? If not install it.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted July 19, 2015 Did you download the driver from here (below)? And try Roland PNC1000 in Signblazer. It is a generic driver http://www.uscuttersupport.com/downloads.php
nastyhabitsracing 0 Posted December 29, 2015 I do have the disc, but when I bought this thing from a friend, they said it only worked on older windows like xp. I downloaded a new signblazer 7 again, downloaded that driver thing in the link you provided, and when I hit cut, it says " can not open the output device. error initializing cutter." Jburns 239 Posted December 30, 2015 My ctn630 ran SB for years as ct630 and windows 7 ( Right click the program icon, compatibility, Windows XP) Chances are you don't have the right COM port matched in your Device Manager to the Software cutter setup menu.
