help with a mh871 cut please

Recommended Posts

hello all.

im in a bit of a pickle with my machine! i have been reading around and looking for help with my machine but cant seem to get an answer to my issue

we run flexi 10 software via usb connection.

we are struggling to get it to cut staight lines and as you can see it does these loop type cuts as you can see in the letter B.

is this common and what are peoples thoughts?

i have checked the belts! but they seem tight!

cheers in advance

Not sure what that was supposed to look like but I'm guessing offset is way out of whack. Try cutting a square and see what the corners look like.

Not sure where he posted the link but dakografx has a great example of proper offset and which way to adjust it based on your test cut. If he doesn't pop in here you may want to pm him. The not square makes me think that maybe the carriage (the part that runs side to side) may not be locked into it's track also.

you are right, the corners are not all the same at all.

if there is anything in particular i can cut out that you would like to see to help with the situation than let me know and i will cut it out and post pics of it.

will play around with the offsets and see what i get. as for the carriage, it seems fine to me, is there a certain way you would like me to check to see if its spot on. but to me it does not feel loose.

thank you for your help  ;D
