Can someone with Silhouette Studio convert a file for me?

I downloaded a .STUDIO file off of a Facebook group, but have no way to convert it to an .EPS or .SVG myself.

 

Please PM and I'll send the file for conversion.  Thanks!

Thanks.  I downloaded a free version of Silhouette Studio and couldn't figure out how to export it...  They sure don't make it obvious...

I use Graphtec Studio, which is basically the same thing, and it can't export either. I was googling a while back and found that you can install a PDF writing program and instead of cutting or saving your file, click print and select the PDF writer, which will make it create a PDF with your image inside. You can then open the PDF with inkscape and export the image as eps.

I could convert it for you.  Studio files are exclusive for the Silhouette Cameo.  The only way to convert them is have the very first version if Sil DE, it will allow you to save files as both Studio and svg formats.  I am lucky enough to still have the original version.

It works, but a lot of the sharp corners were rounded off. I manually cleaned up the one letter I needed for a design, but would like to have the whole thing available without having to manually tweak it if I need it again.

Make sure to have it on a backup just in case. What is the version number is it sil de 1.00?
