contour for laserpoint offset input

So I am a newbie trying to figure out my first vinyl cutter.  I am now practicing doint contour cuts on plain paper.  Sometimes it gets crinkled up but I just want to make sure I am doing things correctly before I start wasting heat transfer paper at $1 a pop.  Last night I changed the offset numbers in signblazer to zeros not thinking and cannot get it back to the default.  My cut lines weren't lining up because it took me a while to figure out the 5 key allows you to jog in smaller increments.  Is the default always correct, what are these numbers, any advice would be appreciated?

You only changed the offset number? Mine is set to .25.

I figured it out ken... The numbers were 3 and 12.  The offset from the laser to the knife.  I watched the video and was able to see the offsets they were using.  Thanks
