Summa USB Connection

Recommended Posts

Just purchased a used 48" Summa D120 at a close out sale. Try to connect via USB port and it seems to disable the port.

Tried the cable off of my graphtec and it does the same thing. Downloaded usb drivers off the summa site and it doesn't help. Happen to anyone else?

I have a D60 and this is what I do.  hook up the plotter to the usb and turn it on.  Run the plotter software it will find the plotter and install the drivers.

Another thing I found out.  If for some reason you have to disconnect the plotter from the computer and don't get it back in the same USB port, you have to reinstall the software.

Great plotter by the way, I've had mine for some time now and I bought it used.  Still going great.
