piscespokerbrat 80 Posted September 9, 2012 Is the 3m 1080 Scotchprint good for a car wrap? I only need this to last for 2 years. The weather *can* get to -40 and as high as 105 ambient. The vinyl I plan on putting on does not need to be printed on only to wrap and hide scratches and such. Suggestions for anything else? I can get a 60" x 10yd rool for $230 .. thanks all in advance!

piscespokerbrat 80 Posted September 10, 2012 Thanks Dave for the link, I think what i was going for was 'is this a good media to use' for wrapping cars. Is there another media that might be just as "good" (subjective I know) that might not carry a hefty price tag? I am new to the vinyl world, I wanted to ask people who work with the stuff vs random google searches.. lol

piscespokerbrat 80 Posted September 10, 2012 Best is good, is there a runner up that might be a cheaper alternative ? Or essentially I get what I pay for?

piscespokerbrat 80 Posted September 10, 2012 Whatcha'll think of Hexis? I can get 35' of that for around $250! They boast 10 year life and a 3 mil thickness if that matters ?
