Your refers to an ownership of something. Your decals are amazing. You're=Contraction of 'you are'. You're cool. You're great at contour cutting. You're probably falling asleep now. Here's more for those who love spelling torture. Too vs. to. Too=degree, or 'also'. I've had too much ice cream. I think you did too. To=toward something. Take me to your leader. Here to there. An vs. a. The indefinite article 'an' or 'a' is used based on the sound of the beginning of the next word. If the following word starts with a consonant sound, use 'a' like so: 'A car' (kuh). A one-day event (the o sounds like 'wuh'). A universe (yoo), a historical document (the h is not silent), a horrible nightmare (hor). 'An' is used when the following word begins with a vowel sound. 'An octupus (ahh), an umbrella (uh), an orange (oh), an honor system (the h is silent in honor and the word starts with 'ahh'). Finally, acroynms and initialisms. An acronym can be spoken like a word (this was just on Penn and Teller). RADAR is an acronym. I.R.S. is an initialism, and is generally spoken with each letter. When using 'an' or 'a', use the indefinite article which relates to how the word is read. Since RADAR is pronounced as a word, you'd type 'a RADAR'.
