sign blazzer locking up wont cut on vista USB (HELP anyone?)

Recommended Posts

i have vista no serial ports so its usb only sign blazer program

have downloaded and installed driver redone settings over and over

as long as the machine is off it will trace like it is sending to the cutter

turn the mach. on and sb locks up and wont close have to shut the computer down to close the prog.

i know the cutter is work like it is suppose to> got my 10 year old computer out (windows 2000 with 256mb ram shouldnt work at all) has serial port cutter works fine except for it wont let me cut any slower than 50 (will be watching the other post) and tears up edges also got some other suggestions from reading to try also

tried that with 3 different cables, still the same locks up signblazer and have to crash my computer to get signblazer to close

gonna see if they make a serial port card for this slimline HP

till then i got my old computer

use this one to get my projects ready to cut then transfer to the other one to cut little extra work but dont want to crash this computer to get it working to hard on the hard drive

thanks for your help kenny very much appreciated

just wondering though could the drivers have change in the newer 4.5 version?

here is some things i got done on my other computer so i am sure i was setting it all up correctly

I had the same problem last week. Wasted nine feet of vinyl :)

I'm using XP, but this solution worked for me...

In your settings under "Cutter Movement" make sure it's not set on "normal".
