I can't seem to find a video or instruction on how to do cutout or knockout, like cutting out letters or clipart from a lower layer. Can someone point me to the directions or a video on doing this? I'm using Vinylmaster LTR. Thanks all! Frank

I have a couple of problems with USCutter. First is sales tax. I don't know why I need to pay sales tax when I'm making an order from out of state. Unless they have offices in my state( California) they shouldn't be collecting sales tax. Second is where items are stocked. Like I said, I live in California (Northern Cali) and when I order, my order comes out of Washington in a couple or three days. But this last order, I was missing some vinyl with no explanation. Went looking at my order aon USCutter's website and it sait the items I wasmissing ws coming from MS. Is ther ea way when ordereing to see if an item is in stock in WA.or not? If not, there needs to be something or some way to look this up. I needed that vinyl for a project this weekend, and had I known that I wasn't getting it with this order, I could have picked another yellow vinyl to get by with or ordeded from somewhere else. On another note, customer service has been very helpfull when I called with questions, so kudos to them.

Clear packing tape will work also. Double it up if need be,

Look at your cutting strip were the blade runs. If there are cut marks in it, like maybe you cut too deep or cut off the vinyl at some point, it will do this If this is the problem, take a piece of clear packing tape and put it over the cut marks. I had this same problem.

I do hydrographics, and do alot of tumblers. I have been cutting a small decal for the bottom of the tumblers with my business name and phone numbers. But what I would like to do is prinr some stickers with my logo and number on them, abd apply them to the bottom of the tumblers. Obviously, they would need to be able to get wet and not fade. I do not hav a laminator, and probably won't buy one. I have seen where people have sprayed arasol clear over the stickers, and even cold laminating. My main questions is that is there a vinyl that will accept ink, and not have to be laminlated for this application? I would be using an Epson Stylus 2200 printer that uses the archival inks, not the vegetable inks, then contour cut using a SC cutter. Also, if using a cold lanination sheet, will I be able to contour cut through both the lanination and vinyl? Thanks

Any tips on where to get the cold lamanet sheets? USCutter doesnt seem to have it.

I had to download VM LTR and the extras. I just installed them last night, and they go right into VM and work. This is for the SC cutter, but it should be the same.

Not sure But I just bought an SC 34" directly from uscutter.. I think they just show 24" and a 34" SC cutter on their site

I couldn't get it to work in the Cut version. But I have the LTR version now and the outline efftect tool works great!

I'll give this a try. Vinylmaster company says it can't be done in the Cut version, only the Ltr and up version.

I went to USCutter and bought the upgrade, It was $125.00

I have vectorized and cut this exact image and it worked fine. Sounds like your copy/paste is making the problems.
