If I am designing a partial wrap for a vehicle for the side of it, do you have to compensate for the curve of the vehicle? This is my first wrap, I am sending the artwork to a printer because I don't own a printer that can do that. I don't want the print job to get to me not perfect. When designing artwork, does anyone have any tips in regard to the wraps? P.S.- this is not a full vehicle wrap, just a left and right side of the whole vehicle.

I went today to order a few cactus wraps along with a case of 36 mugs from the creator, and they said I need a sales tax exemption form to be able to purchase from them. Does anyone on here have any wraps for sale or know of another place to purchase?

I have a little hobby lite 9x11 heat press I believe is the size, it is the smaller one. How would you recommend I do hoodies? I am just wanting to create 3-4 hoodies for personal use and don't really want to buy a bigger heat press if I am not going to do these on a steady basis. How would you do the full length arms? Would you press half and then the other half? I will be using siser easy weed. Also, how would I find the middle back of the hoodie? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Heat Transfer Hoodie with smaller press
Gravity replied to Gravity's topic in T-Shirts and/ or Garments
Thank you!! I am hoping these turn out, I don't do heat transfer very often and want to do a few hoodies. Thanks again. -
I have read many threads on here in regard to etching. I am wanting to get into etching with a cabinet, but am confused on the pressure for the cabinet. If I am wanting to use aluminum oxide with the HF cabinet what capacity compressor would I need? Could I use a smaller compressor and just have to let it fill up? Or what is the recommend capacity and CFM? I seen a post about a compressor with 20CFM, if I am correct that compressor will be roughly 800-1k price. I don't want to spend 1k on a setup if I don't know if I am going to like it. I am sorry if these questions have been asked before.

I ordered my SC cutter, unboxed it and cannot get the computer to cut. I went and bought an I/O Gear serial to USB and still cannot get the computer to recognize the cutter. I connected the USB and still nothing. I am trying to use the VinylMaster Pro demo. I tried installing Signcut software that came with the cutter, but the serial number is invalid. I contacted SignCut software company and they said it was indeed an invalid serial number and to contact UScutter. I have reached out to UScutter, but I know that this is a weekend. Can anyone assist with this? Or should I reach out to UScutter on Monday? I would like to use VinylMaster, because I want to learn one piece of software.

I bought 60* blades from cleancut. I will try your settings and work up and down from there. I have tried .35 offset and below with no success.
-
Cal- thanks, I'm using the clean cut cut blades. Where do you adjust overcut?
-
It is setup as the above instructions, I got the software to see the vinyl cutter. Trying to dial it in now, been working with it. Got speed at 200, and blade pressure at 200. Getting rounder corners, tried offset at .25 and .30. What is everyone else running thier settings at on this cutter? When I do a test cut WITHOUT the software it is making rounder corners, does this make sense?

I apologize and understand your all asking questions to get me where I need to be, I'm thankful for that. Thank you for all your help
-
Understand, I know about the device manager it's not a plug n pray setup, I mean plug n play. I am using the cable that was supplied with the cutter to hook to the key span, then that plugs in the computer. The USB port feels very loose on the cutter. So I ditched it and went the i/o gear keys pan route whiwhich seemed to be the incorrect way.

I will be returning the serial to USB adapter I purchased and ordering a key span monday among contacting us cutter support. I already did email them.
-
I personally don't think it's the softWare, I believe its the machine. When I plug it into two different computers I'm getting no new hardware found. I installed the drivers BEFORE plugging in the USB cable from the cutter.

I apologize, but I did not ignore the advice of a keyspan adapter. It was Friday evening at 800 in the evening when I was unboxing this. I could not locate a key span adapter locally, so I bought the next step which was an i/o gear. I was just posting my setup of what I currently am trying to use, which if it will not work I understand.

Okay, thank you. Whose mugs are better? Do you know if the pricing is a big difference?

I'm in the market for a budget cuttrr, I'm looking at the MH series or the SC series. Which one out of these two should I order? Also, would you order the 24" or the 34" Doesn't vinyl come in 24" rolls or 48"? Thank you

I'm looking at getting the recommended toaster oven as well as some cactus wraps. Is it safe to use the toaster oven in the house with the fumes? Or does it not put off any fumes to worry about?

Slice, thank you. I Wil be cutting vinyl lettering for many applications. I will not cut heat press vinyl. I have sublimation printer and stuff for that so this is just another dabble in the vinyl world.
