what version of Flexi Pro? This was purchased at Signwarehouse, what does their Tech support say about hooking up the Lynx? It must be an older version than Flexi 8.5 version, because 8.5 does have the USB on it as an option. I have it on Flexistarter 8.5, and if you have Flexi Pro version 8.1 on down it is not even VISTA compatible, needs to be on XP on down. was not Vista compatible until version. 8.5 . If it is version 8.5 or newer, when you get to the part in your set up in Production Manager that says How Is your lynx S-60 connected to your computer, are you scrolling that drop down box all the way down?

I use medium tack for intermediate vinyl.

your tape all depends on what you are putting it on. I remember you were having trouble with the 631, but from reading what others use, I believe the 631 needs a higher tack, because it has a matte finish.

Me too, It's 3am here, I live in Indiana, hope you get going right, the Graphtecs are a great machine, I have had mine for 3 years and no problems, I have the Fc7000 series. and love it. It has the nice catch basket on it to as standard

I just put my vinyl about a inch past the cutting strip, Forward of the cutting strip, You cannot start right at the edge of the vinyl

do your pinch rollers have levers on them? To go down? If so I leave mine up. I just close the handle that's all

I take it by purchaseing the GT5 vinyl. from H& H.. do you live in the south?

well great thing about Graphtecs, they have a great warranty on them.

never had that problem, but I do give more force to the colors than I do black or white, black/ white, I do 13 force, colors 14force

is the vinyl laying flat, and tight between the pinch rollers... pinch rollers close to the outside edges of the vinyl?

first if your vinyl is puffing up, it sure can't cut it. how wide of vinyl are you using?

have you tried a different blade? maybe you have damaged that one and can't see it.

it has to lay flat while cutting, puffing up is no good, it can't cut it, are you unrolling the vinyl. so It's not pulling on the roll, You should,

That is that is the only kind of vinyl I use from Earlmich. I never have problems with it. Yes. is your vinyl laying flat and not pinched up from the rollers.?

I use the same vinyl,, sounds like you need a little more blade then, I run perfect at 13-14 I run my speed at 3-5 depending on how detailed. I never run over speed of 6, beautiful cuts.

well something had to change. what kind of vinyl are you using? and how much force are you using? are you cutting the same size designs as you were before? The cutter cuts from right to left... are you starting with your material to the far right side?

make sure your cutting strip is down all the way across your machine, blade only needs to be barely out. make sure carriage is firmly on the track make sure no vinyl is caught in the blade holder, blade should spin freely make sure you have the blade holder firmly attached with the thumbscrew make sure the caps are on the blade holder good how much force are you using?

I don't have Cut Studio software, but alot of cutting software have optimze cutting order in it. Isn't that a version of Flexi? I use Flexi and tile stripes, It will not cut thru the tiles, just cuts the first tile and advances thru all tiles til you get to the end of the design.
