  1. Read the specs for your cutter to find cutting areas. look at the Graphtec site. Just past the little padlock is where you can change mm, inches etc. in inkscape. Depending on what cutting software you are using, is where you actually scale your image for cutting. Such as import your image them decide what size you want to cut it. Height x width.

HOW TO CREATE A THICKER/BOLD LETTER USING FLEXISTARTER

I have no idea what you did... Sounds like it is not vectorized... It will say that if it is a raster image.

HOW TO CREATE A THICKER/BOLD LETTER USING FLEXISTARTER

you would have better luck doing your designing in www.inkscape.org which is free design software export as an .eps and import into Flexistarter.. Flexistarter is pretty basic design software, but great cutting software.

I need the font Styrofoam Feelings

I didn't have any trouble downloading the file I posted up above, and when opened, it looks like your picture. It is the same font. It is styrofoam feelings. Not being stupid, but are you extracting it first? I'm confused, I didn't have any trouble with it and I use Flexistarter 8.6

help with cutting different objects at once

Well, you will need a workspace a whole lot larger than the items you are lining up, If what you are wanting, can even be done in Signblazer at all. I don't know.

help with cutting different objects at once

I don't use Signblazer, but in Flexi I can just keep importing different files onto my layout screen, size them, line them up and cut. Can you import multiple files in Signblazer?

After you have Signblazer open, you should be clicking IMPORT and not open, Is that what you are doing?
  15. it's called COPY AND PASTE LOL
  16. you can submit a ticket to support, also read this from another post We call it the 'Z' axis chip because it is the one responsible for raising and lowering the carriage arm. It's really only the MH cutters that have 'Z' chip issues and typically it's static interference that does them in. If you're having issues with your carriage arm and blade not dropping to your vinyl, or staying dropped and not raising; you'll know if the chip has failed by performing these tests: 1 - Turn the cutter off and unplug it from the wall. Remove the carriage cover (three screws) and get yourself a nine volt battery. You want to touch the terminals of the battery to the two solder points above the carriage motor (or to the copper ribbons). Don't worry about doing this wrong, you can't hurt anything. If you're able to get a good connection you will see the carriage arm "jump" and either raise or lower depending on which terminals you're touching. If you aren't sure if you're getting a good connection, try using a couple paperclips; hold them to the terminals on the battery, and touch them to the solder points. If it does jump, then you know the carriage electro-magnet is good. Now, is power getting from the Motherboard to the motor? step 2. 2 - Plug the cutter back in and turn it on. Pay close attention to the carriage arm; is it up, down, or somewhere in the middle? Turn the machine off. there should be a change; ie: the arm should drop. Then turn the machine on and observe again. ... what you're looking for is the carriage arm to raise and lower with the power switch action. It should move only about an 1/8th of an inch; up with the power on, down with the power off. What this tells us is whether or not we're getting power sent from the motherboard, up the connecting wires to the electro-magnet that raises and lowers the blade arm. If it doesn't move at all after Step 2: You should call technical support and we'll walk you through one last test. You do not have power getting from the mother board to the carriage motor. At this point we can deduce that A) The connecting cable supplying the power has failed or has a bad connection... which is possible but not likely considering the machine. Or The Z chip is toast because of static electricity. If the arm does move up and down with the power switch: it is definitive- your Z chip is toast. If you do call to order another Z chip (which we sell) please, ground the machine before you install it or you risk this happening again. Oh, and FYI: if you put the Z chip in backwards (50/50 chance) you will burn it and potentially ruin the Motherboard as well; so call technical support first. Cheers!

    Hello From North Carolina

Welcome, you can start here http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php/topic,21665.0.html
  22. People have done that to themselves on Signcut, which is registered. uninstall too many times and get locked out. http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=53
  23. I use sb in trial mode, haven't registered it yet mainly because I dont know if/where I want to use it. (I have a few different places I work) That being said, there are issues about it I dont like and pretty much will move me to another package if I continue to work with vinyl. But from what I read about your complaints, I would suspect some of the issues are related to problems with your PC or OS (the rebooting etc). Are you running this on XP or Vista/Windows 7? Sign blazer is trial mode only, and cannot be registered, It is no longer a company, You can download and use Signblazer on as many computers as you want . It is FREE software. You can download it right from the forum. .

Jagged Cuts Due to Blade Offset

The OP never stated what type of operating system he was using.. Flexipro 8.1 is for Xp on down. Was not even Vista compatible until 8.5, Could be the problem. Also Flexi blade offset is in inches. OP also has not stated what he has selected as his cutter model in FlexiPro 8.1, because unless they have downloaded the latest Flexi driver pack, US Cutters are not listed in 8.1 version. I am thinking. No offense to OP, but also never stated whether this is a legal version of Flexisign Pro8.1, This version is downloaded illegally all the time with corrupt files, from torrents. I cut the file on Flexistarter. nothing wrong with the file.
