I was wondering how difficult is it to print and then contour cut an image using Craft Robo Pro ? Has anyone been sucessful in contour cutting with this machine?

I love my LP....but I was wonder if there is any word on any new software being developed for it? Possible some that makes the cut a print contouring a bit more easier?

I seem to be having a problem importing jps. gifs. and pngs. I thought these formats were acceptable

Makes perfect sense when use vinyl..but what about simple heat transfer paper? Just to trim around the outside red circle?

Basically..how would you cut this image out.

Forgive me as I am very new to cutting ..but how would you go about cutting the attached? I just want to cut around the red circle nothing more...I am using signcut and laserpoint 24. Thanks!

I posted this in the signblazer elements section but have yet to recieve a reply. When I go to cut a print and have the laser read the various registration marks...then hit cut..nothing happens. Could this be one of the downsides with using the included usb cord? If I switch to serial will this occur??

Hello folks! I hope those on East Coast are staying dry... I just got my Laserpoint this week and I cannot get the "cut to print" feature to work. I get so far as the hit the cut button then nothing happens...

I'm kinda computer dumb..so forgive me if my questions are very simplistic. Are you referring to the drivers that will come with the usb/serial cable or the ones the come with the cutter?

if I use USB to serial adapter (also known as a keyspan) do I have to install drivers still? or does the print communicate directly to the pc?

I got this from a helpful person last night.... only one blade at a time. blade goes into the blade holder (the cylinder looking thing). Fat end of the blade goes into the hole opposite of the chrome pin plunger. the cylinder top and bottom can rotate. Are there any thread that show how to install the cutter using USB port? I got the SignBlazer install, my knife is in..I can do a test page..but pc isn't picking up cutter..nor can SB pick it up..help!!
