When I first bought my MH 871 i tried using Inkscape and Signcut, but found that for me, Signblazer did everything I needed. Never went back to Signcut, although I liked the weeding options. Can you say what the major improvements in the updated Signcutter are? Should I start saving my pennies (or dollars)?

Thinking about getting into this business
Racer88 replied to Sigma3Productions's topic in Introductions
Welcome! I really have come to enjoy vinyl cutting and sandblasting as a hobby. I have been thinking of trying out a small heat press soon. The people on this board are very helpful. -
You know you're in the sign business when you use a ladder

I'll take a look at the o-ring in my blade holder. Thanks for the suggestion! -

MH871 choppy / jagged diagonal lines

My MH 871 does that sometimes as well, Don't know what causes it, I try different cutting speeds or slightly increase/decrease the image size and it usually goes away. It might be that I am using the usb connection (been thinking about getting a keyspan). I only use my cutter for personal stuff, but I would like to know what causes it as well. -
Good job, looks great!

I use the MH 871 as well, It works great for me, but I just use it for personal/hobby interests. I haven't cut anything over two feet long yet..

Looks great! I worked in a video arcade for a few years during college in the early 80's.
