haumana 1,221 Posted September 10, 2008 Does anyone know how to clean them? I pulled them out of my vehicle and would like to clean them up before turning it into a dog bed. It's the single piece type, with faux fur for the sides and backing. Whatever elastic bands and hooks there were are long gone. Should I cut away the faux fur stuff before cleaning? Can I actually wash this or is this something I can hose down? I'm just too cheap to toss it away, and I know that my dogs would appreciate it better than the garbage can
ShowMeVinyls 0 Posted September 10, 2008 I would take them to the car wash . Hang them where the floor mats clip on the wall and wash and rinse same as you would floor mats.
haumana 1,221 Posted September 10, 2008 cool ... but would you believe that we don't have those kind of car washes here. Well, there are a few, but they are all on the military bases. Us locals have to settle for gas station drive thru washes, or in the yard with the bucket and sponge.
