gg 1 Posted May 23, 2007 Hello, I'm considering a 50" us cutter to start my own vinyl shop.. would to to hear pros & cons about this product.. thanks GG
kenimes 42 Posted May 24, 2007 For the price, you can not go wrong. These units are a bit louder than other cutters on the market, and the warranty is limited, but other than that, they are great machines. I would also suggest checking out our Copam series if you intend to use it in a commercial setting.
gg 1 Posted May 24, 2007 thanks, yeah I was thinking of going w/ the Copam but was wondering if it's worth the price difference, my plans are to start off small and see how it goes then upgrade.. I have Corel 12 do you know if I can cut an .eps or ai. directly or will I need to export file and use the software that comes w/ cutter? Thanks GG
kenimes 42 Posted May 25, 2007 Absolutely worth the difference. Copam's have been reviewed above a Roland, and just under a Summa or Graphtec. You can export Corel files in .eps or .ai format to the cutting software to cut out.
