Arg...vector insight needed

Recommended Posts

Ok, I got a bunch of images that are rather small, and I wish to vector to enlarge for big stickers.  Problem is, inkscape is making a mess of it all - tapering off some words into nothingness.  Illustrator is just destroying the image, and I've been mucking around with a bunchload of settings.  Attached is an example of one of the images, so you'll see how small they are.  Ideas and tips would be great to try to crack this thing  :P

Joe,

That little tutorial is also pretty good for the bezler tool in Corel.  This are a little different but, basics are very similar

Right Regis, it is basically the same, just some differences.

Vectorizing that way gives users better results, sharper images and more control than Auto Trace.

Thats how I draw most of the time.

Yea Ryan - same problem as I've been having.  See the text loses it's quality?  Thanks Joe - I'll look into the pen re-draw idea.

I can't take all the credit. I just took the one ryan did and edited a few nodes then replaced all the text with one that looked like the original pic then converted the text to curves
