logos95 0 Posted May 15, 2007 I'm learning how to use the SignCut and it seems like everything is going to work out great. I do have one question though. The WY-388 converter seems to be loose internally. We've got to tighten the screws rather snuggly and even then it doesn't always work. When we wiggle the converter it will suddenly start cutting with random cuts and lengths. If we shut it down and restart, everything works fine. it just seems like something is loose inside. How much is a new converter? While I'm asking things, should the cutter converse with Signcut? I mean, the cutter measures the material but doesn't report it to the software. kenimes 42 Posted May 15, 2007 The cutter will not relay the size of the material to SignCut. You will need to set that manually in SignCut. If you have a bad Serial to USB cable, we can have you send it back for a replacement, or you could go purchase a better one. Up to you. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
