Help. any image to cut

Recommended Posts

We are having a b!tch of a time with the Signcut software and getting it figured out and to actual see it cut something useful.

I was wondering if anyone had a small/medium image that they have previously cut that they could send me to test out the software and the cutter. Heck if someone could make it to cut out USMC that be fine too. I would just like to see this thing in action (well action that produces something useful). Everything is either way larger than it should be or we cut extra cuts that shouldn't be there.

If someone could send us something to cut and the info to put into signcut to make it cut that would help us out alot I think.

I have printed out the manual and read the help files but still totally lost.

We have corel and illustrator if that would help too.

Email is freebird1963@yahoo.com

Apreciate all the help so far.

Thanks

Mark

I d/l the file attached in the previous message by Taz.

I opened it in corel x3. just opened it. then sent it to signcut.

however this is how it appears in signcut. The cross is no longer a cross.

Also signcut says in Images that its 4x4 but yet it cut out amost 8 inches big.

arghh.

What the heck is goin' on. ?

Thanks

Mark

Hey Mark,

in your image of signcut the size is reading 4X4? in the boxes under image in the first column it reads 4.000X4.000 which would be 4"X4"

and the cross is still a cross, the border dots are just covering the lines.

did you try cutting it?

Taz

Yes I finally got it to cut. I had to do a calibrate.

Once I did that it cut out like it should. Looks cool. !

Once I got it cut I realized that that is the weeded part. DUH ! Sometimes the light takes awhile to click on. :-)

Appreciate it very much.

Thanks

Mark
